I'm covering the Sundance Film Festival as it's in our back yard. Mostly doing blog entries, twitter updates and videos. I've been doing it for many years now and it is always a rush!
Yesterday we did two videos - one on ChefDance which is this really cool celebrity chef event. The girl that took us around seemed SO familiar, so I googled her name when I got back. She was Bethenny Frankel from the Martha Stewart Apprentice and Real Housewives of NYC! Duh!
We also got to talk to this girl, who is now 16, but when she was 12 she made a full-length zombie movie all on her own! Her mom was with her, and her mom did a ton with the movie too. There is a documentary on her playing up there, so we did an interview. GREAT kid and she loves the muppets so I had to ask her favorite. It made my day when she said it was her fav question ever!
Anyway, just thought if anybody was interested, you could check out our coverage. It's all at http://www.sltrib.com/sundance and there's a link to the blog, twitter feed and an embed of videos there on the right side. You can also go to http://youtube.com/sltrib and click on the Sundance playlist just under the big video window. (The crappy video with the music in the background is NOT one I did!)
Enjoy!
