On travelocity it says suncountry serves a hot sandwich on every flight. I can't find anything on the suncountry website about it. Has anyone flown suncountry recently and know the answer. Thanks

Yes. Just got back from Las Vegas on Sun Country last weekend.

We had a hot breakfast sandwich on our morning flight out and a hamburger sandwich on our late night flight back. Also got a cookie.

It's not a lot of food, and it's certainly not gourmet food, but it's more than you get on most other airlines. Think slightly better than McDonald's and you'll be in the ball park.

FWIW, I love the service on SC and for those who fly out of MSP, the HH terminal is so much nicer, faster and easier to use.

Another satisfied Sun Country flyer here. The "McMuffin" type breakfast sandwich and cheeseburger lunch/dinner sandwich has been the same on every Sun Country flight I've booked. Sure beats having nothing and is especially appreciated if you do not have time to buy something overpriced in the airport.

Thanks for the answers. We only fly out of the HH terminal in MSP. Usualy it's air tran or midwest though. Thanks again. Stacy

Yep, have to concur with the post above. The sandwich is really nice to have early in them morning. My only knock on Sun Country is that their prices have not been that great the past year and half or so. Airtran has been doing a better job of underpricing SC and NW here in MSP on the Orlando route....

Still like SC and will fly them if the price is right.... I prefer SC and Airtran over NWA simply because they fly out of HHH.

We love Sun Country and flying out of HH it is so much easier and faster.Sun Countrys non stop flight to Orlando is about the same price as other flights, you just have to check weekly. We have always gotten a $200 round trip price the last two years. The sandwichs are alright but I take catsup packets to help add some flavor.:rotfl:

Definitely agree on HHH! And I also agree on the SC pricing - but I'm willing to pay a bit more for SC over AT. SC does not change their arrival & departure times nearly as much as AirTran does, LOL.

FWIW, I've found that Hobbittravel.com often has a lower price for SC flights than you can get by booking directly with SC. Average price is $25 per ticket lower. Have gotten some good deals to Las Vegas, Laughlin & Orlando this way.
