Yeah I am thinking I am going to die tomorrow morning. I have never exercised that early let alone having to take Lisa's class on top of it.:scared1: Watch I will probably love it and this will be the only Friday I can do it since I am off. Brian said I was crazy to get up that early on my day off, but I figure I can take a nap after if i want.

So I am trying to decide which lunch we should do at Animal Kingdom. Originally I figured we would do Tusker House but now looking at Yak and Yeti's menu I think that sounds better. Has anyone eaten at Tusker House and could give me some feedback on it? Is it a buffet, is the food good? The menu kind of confused me. Yak and Yeti's menu looks really good. Which do you recommend?

I've never been to Tusker House but I've been to Yak & Yeti. The food there was really good! We didn't try any of the entrees but we got the lettuce wraps & their version of an appetizer sampler. :thumbsup2 We're looking into going to Tusker House for the character breakfast.

I would love the character breakfast at Tusker House I think more than lunch or dinner. I think that is one character meal that Daisy is at! Yak & Yeti's menu looked so good. I am glad you hear you liked it there. Thanks!

This is what sold me on it!! You never see Daisy anywhere!

I'm not sure if anyone remembers these but in the 90's General Mills came out with Golden Graham treats. They are the Golden Graham cereal with marshmallows and chocolate. Kind of like a big old S'more, as Rachel Ray would put it YUMMO! So around this same time was when I took my first ever Disney trip. I was on the dance team at my school in 8th grade and we got to go with the band to DISNEY!!! I was never so excited in my life. Well as you can imagine we took a bus and Pittsburgh to Orlando is a pretty far drive, so snacks were definitely required. Well what did I bring, but a big old box of Golden Graham treats. Now don't make fun but the taste of those little cereal bars immediately bring back memories of Disney and make me remember that wonderful first trip. So as you can probably guess General Mills, for some reason, stopped making these tasty little bars. Like they do with most fabulous products, Hi-C Ecto Cooler anyone???

So after some time (about 11 years later) I got over my search for these and just figured that they would never sell these again and I would never get to taste my first taste of Disney magic again:sad:.

Well I just happened to be in Sam's club the other night and very rarely walk down the cereal aisle there but something just pulled me in that direction. I look up and you can guess what i see...

Kind of a bad picture..sorry!

:dance3: :banana::banana::banana: :dance3:

I almost fell over with excitement. I scooped up the big old box and could not even wait to get into the car so I could rip it open and taste that magic again. Needless to say they did not disappoint and still taste exactly the same. I will more than likely be bringing a few of these with me for the plane ride in September.

sorry I know this story was kind of long but I just wanted to reminise about one of my first Walt Disney World experiences.

I remember those! I used to eat them all the time. That's a cute story, I'm glad you were able to find them. :) Now if we could only find that Hi-C Ecto Cooler...

I am so glad you remember them too! Yeah my only hope for Ecto cooler is that they will bring it back out but it will probably be under another name.

Hey! I just read your PTR and everything sounds so exciting!! Those treats look soooooo good! I was a big fan of Golden Grahams growing up! :thumbsup2 Can't wait to read more!

Thank you so much! Yeah we caught them one day sleeping like that by the front door and ran to get a camera. There are so many times we would do that and then they would move or wake up.

Ahh, I totally forgot about Etco Coolers!!!!!:lmao: Slimer is so cute!

Slimer is so cute!

:lmao:Awesome post!! I loved the old cooler too! One of my favorite 'juice boxes' was by Hershey's, they used to make flavored milk in juice box form. My favorite was always the Banana Split! :worship:So sad when they take the good things away!

I was a band geek too! The years before and after ours (1998 and 2003) of course were when they went to Disney. :headache:
But, we did get to go to Atlanta, GA, Gatlinburg, TN, Williamsburg, VA and Myrtle Beach, SC :thumbsup2

I think I know what you are talkinga bout by Hersheys! Ha, yeah I pretty much joined dance team when I heard they were going to Disney. Thanks for reading!

I am sorry I haven't posted in a little while. I really haven't had anything new going on. We still have a little while before we can book our ADR's. I kind of nervous about making my ADR's this year due to the Free Dining that they have offered. I am kind of scared it is going to be extremely hard to get a reservation. What do all of you think?

That's exactly why I won't do it! I'm such a sissy anyway, I probably would get sick just watching the ride for too long!! :rotfl2: Everything sounds great, though! So exciting!!

I am so bummed Space Mountain will be closed when we're there too. :guilty:

You've never done Snow White?? Seriously?? We always go on this cause it seems to have the shortest line of of the 3 dark rides!

Maelstrom is fun if you don't get a screaming child on it. It was like riding with a banshee.

Crush n Gusher is the BEST! I absolutely love it, did it 3 times the last time I was there. I'm hoping to fit in a Typhoon Lagoon vist during our trip.

Your lists look sooo great!! I know--I'm really worried about making ADRs too. And the 90+10 can really mess them up too. My DH just laughed at me when I said "What if there's someone who's coming on the 19th who wants ALL of our same ADRs?! It can happen!" :confused3 I know I'm just being silly, but I'm still nervous. But I've been reading some PTRs for June/July and they got theirs fine. Since we're going during a less-busy season, we should be ok... Hopefully.
