Summertime Treehouse.

Tell me about the Treehouses in the end of August. Hot? Bugs? Can you sit out at night? BBQ. Thanks

I would say the end of August isn't any hotter at the THV than elsewhere at WDW. We were there in early Aug. and didn't notice any difference. We had NO bug issues, either. I went totally prepared with the hanging bug things, anti-itch stuff, etc....and they all stayed packed in my suitcase. It was also fairly rainy, like usual in the afternoon, so we couldn't sit on the deck.

Our May stay had terrible bugs. We practically ran from car to villa to avoid them. It was such a shame as the outside area is the best part of the THV but we were not able to utilize it.

We went the end of Aug 09 and it was too hot to enjoy anything outside due to the heat. There were no bug issues. We did however love the abundance of treefrogs. We just got back from there and missed our treefrogs. We love the THV's.

We stayed last Labor Day and there were no bugs at all. We sat outside every morning for breakfast since it was much cooler in the mornings. Again, no bug issues. We were lucky and got the treehouse right next to the pool, it made it easy to run over and take a dip and run back to the treehouse. We loved it!

We were there the week of Labor Day and it was blasted hot, but I never saw(or felt) one bug. I don't know how they do it.

We were there last August and it was nice...no bugs and while it was hot, it wasn't horrible. Lots of rain storms as usual for florida, but we could have stayed outside in the evening if we wanted (we enjoyed the inside )
