Summer & Steven's Fairytale Wedding TR, 20th Aug SBP Baby Pics!!!

Summer, I just wanted to say how much I am enjoying your TR. your attention to detail is superb and I love seeing the parks and resorts through someone elses eyes. I loved staying at CBR and POFQ too. I love epcot. When we stay at BWV we wander in and stroll round the world showcase each night. Last year we were lucky enough to do Le cellier for DF's 40th birthday, we liked it so much we want to do it for the night before our wedding meal, I'm glad you liked it too.
Your Randy pictures are stunning and you can see just how happy you are, it really shows. I must admit, I love seeing Randy's photos of SBP brides, knowing I'll be one too next year!
anyway if I say pretty please a few times can we have the next installment?
pretty please, pretty please, pretty please.......

Summer I am crying as I type this. What you said in your last installment was absolutely beautiful to read. DH and I have been married for 11 years (Oct 12th) and have been together for almost 19 years. I was 18 and he was 19 when we started dating and like you have been through a lot of different emotions and I felt exactly the same way you did on my wedding day, I married my prince and best friend. Your pictures of you and Steven are stunning. Your flowers are gorgeous, your cake is gorgeous too. I can't wait for more. Sorry to hear about your dad too, my FIL died 6 months before we got married so I understand the pain of a loved one not being there for your special day.

The moment was here, I had waited literally years for this. Steven and I have been together for 9 years as of August 17th. There were times when I didn’t think this day was ever going to happen. We have been through many ups and downs, family issues, personal issues, a miscarriage, financial problems, career changes, loss of family and finally a break-up last year. We really have overcome more than most. Through it all, we have learned a lot, we have learned to accept each other, flaws and all.
We both made mistakes in the past, but we managed to find each other again. I am not one for believing that life is easy, but when you have someone to share those trials and tribulations with, it does become easier.
I love Steven, probably more than he will ever know and I was glowing that day, not because of make up, or the jewellery or even my dress. I was glowing because I was truly happy that day and nothing will ever change my perfect memory of that perfect moment…and the music began…

This is an absolutely beautiful description of love. I cried when I read this and also the part about remembering your father.

You look stunning! I know you didn't care for your makeup, but I think you looked beautiful! Your dress is gorgeous and Randy really got some fantastic photos of it. I love the one in the BW lobby with the carousel horse chandelier above you.

Your flowers and cake are lovely! I love that your cake is not the standard cake and that calla lilies were incorporated in everything.

I really need to stop reading your new installments at work! ;)

You are such a great writer and have included so much detail and feeling that you have brought me right into the wedding.

Thanks for including all of us in your special day! :bride: :groom:

Your description of love made me want to cry! You have such an amazing way with words!! I absolutely love your bonquet! It is so original and unique!! Your pictures are amazing and you look absolutely beautiful!! Can't wait to hear more!!popcorn::

Your pictures are so amazing...he is a great photographer. :thumbsup2 Your recollection of detail is remarkable! I could barely remember the details of our wedding...you are going to have quite the keepsake when this is all said and done. I'll just say one more time that I am loving the TR - esp the pictures!!!

I look forward to reading ever part. The flower for your dad is a lovely idea, I'd not hear of that before, my dad passed away 16 years ago but I think he still came to my wedding, but that's another story.

I just love your wedding cake, it looks amazing and sounds it too.

What a great record you have of your fairytale wedding, all the memories.

Wonderful reading, love the details.

Love Wendy xxxxxxxxx

yearbook50 - Thank you for the kind words. I didn't want anything extravagant for my dad, it just wasn't his style.

zalansky - Thanks. My make up just wasn't to my tastes, but I'm glad it didn't look bad in the pictures. I'm sorry your mom didn't get to be with you on your wedding, but she would have been watching over you and been very proud:hug:

B2B-2008 - Awww, thank you. I tell it like it is, that's all.

AInWonderland - Thanks. I'm wondering where I can go from here as everyone thinks this is my best post yet, AAHHH, the pressure!

Dream426 - I normally update my TR, late afternoon UK time, when I'm at work I don't have access to my pictures so it's impossible. I always post when I get home.

Hilary12.08.07 - Wow, that was such a nice post. My grandparents always said there was something about the 2 of us also. I don't know what it is, but I'm glad it's there.
If I could quit my job and write TR's all day, I would, but unfortunately I'm no good at writing fiction, but I do enjoy writing fact.

Funniebunny - I'm so glad you're enjoying my TR. 2 months will fly by, I remember that time well. It's a great time, enjoy it.

ILoveChip - Thanks. I wrote that description in a minute, it is exactly how I felt at that precise moment so it captured it perfectly.

MistressOfAllEvil - Awww, you are too sweet. I was like you I became obsessed with TR's too, I read so many good ones and they were all so helpful.
Thanks for the compliments about it all.
More coming up...

Hayley - We will definitely have alot to celebrate. Do you think I could wear my wedding ears again? lol.

HarbinsMom - Thank you, it's so nice to hear the success stories of people like you. I will be so grateful if we are going as strong as you are in 25 years.

Michelle - Yes, we lived our fairytale, and hopefully we will get our happily ever after...

poohface - Thank you, I did feel alive on that day, something in the air maybe?

Bostonbride - Thank you so much. But what are you all going to do when my TR ends? It does have to end sometime!!!

Maddiesmum03 - Thank you, I will be putting up the next instalment just now.
I do love Randy's pics, I made such a good choice when it came to him. what am I saying there wasn't even anyone else in the running.
I'm definitely gonna make another reservation at Le Cellier for our next trip.

Lisa - Thank you, I did love my cake, it was exactly what I had hoped for.

Laura - Thank you, I don't mean to make everyone cry, really I don't. I wanted to bring you all in though to my special day. Many of you have been on this journey with me, it's only right you get to share it.

AuroraBorealis - Thank you, that is one of my fav pics too, I never really got to see the back of my dress:upsidedow
Calla Lillies are by far my favourite flower. Ever since I watched Quantum Leap (long story) when I was only 8. I always knew I wanted Calla Lillies as my wedding flower.

DisneyObsession - No more reading at work, people will be thinking you are nuts. Again, I want you all to share this. It means so much that I get to write this TR. I am loving every minute of it.

disneydreamgirl05 - Thank you, that description was meant, every word.

oneyodafan - Thanks, you mean I'm not boring you yet?

MUDisneyCouple - Thank you. Exactly, I am going to cherish this TR forever, including all the comments I have received. I am going to get this TR bound, I am already looking into it.

angel*lady - Thank you, I showed my last instalment to Steven and he too was touched, I don't think he was aware that I thought that way on our wedding day.

The Charmed One - Thank you for reading. The details come very easily to me, I have a great memory and it's easy to recall things from when I was a child, let alone 4 weeks ago. I was told I verge on having a photographic memory, as I can remember things I read very easily. It's great that it falls over into this though.

Okay, as you asked the next instalment is coming up...

Oh dear, I don't think you could bore us if you tried Summer. You have a talent for writing, and I think most of us crave all the details.

My mom gets into position as I hear the violinist softly play. Tanis is by my side, fixing my dress, my veil and bouquet, making sure everything is perfect. I breathe deeply and swallow hard, I had no idea I would feel so shaky. I quickly ask Tanis how I’m supposed to walk; I mean is it the traditional, left together, right together format or what?
She advises me to walk normally but slowly, after all this is my moment and I should milk it for all it’s worth!
My mom begins walking slowly, as the music comes in stronger. I move into position:

Tanis tells me I’m up.
I turn and smile and ‘Canon in D’ begins:

Tanis whispers “go” and I begin my walk slowly down the aisle:

I see Steven standing there in the distance, and to be honest I didn’t see anyone else, not Randy or Stan, Rev Miller, or even my mom. I saw him:

Stc.jpg

I continued my walk and thought of nothing, my mind was at peace and all I wanted to do was reach Steven.
I was aware how long my veil was, it was actually longer than my dress. As I walked I could hear it catching sometimes on the boards of Sea Breeze Point. As I turned to make my way to meet Steven, my veil almost caught completely on the chair. In my video, you can actually see me looking back and jerking my head forward to loosen it.

The music slowly faded and we clasped each others hands:

I looked at Steven and smiled. Our day was here and I didn’t want this moment to end:

c2.jpg

Reverend Miller began talking and his words were filled with kindness and joy. He relayed his ‘Nuptial Nuggets’ as he called them and I found these to be wise and humorous. Rev Miller seems to get right, down deep to the heart of marriage. He didn’t sugar coat it and didn’t pretend everything would be rosy from here on out, and we both appreciated that. I don’t know how but Rev Miller tapped into our personalities, and his words really hit home. He had an enthusiasm that I’ve rarely seen; he is truly, one of a kind.

The ceremony begins and it’s Steven to speak first:
c4.jpg

The vows are beautiful and all I can think about is how much I want to say those words. Steven begins to falter and I smile at him with my ‘froggy’ smile as he calls it, knowing it will make him laugh. I pull him back, just in time, before the tears starts to fall.

It is my turn now and I repeat Rev Miller’s words with passion. I mean every word that I utter and am surprised at how strongly I feel when I say my vows. I look at Steven and know he is my soul mate. Like no other, he is there when I fall.

c5.jpg

It is time to exchange rings and Rev Miller displays them both in his hands:

moment.jpg

Steven slowly places the ring on my finger, confirms his vows and smiles at me. He grabs my hands and squeezes them tightly, it’s my turn.

I take his hand and give him the ring as a symbol of my love and commitment. I look deep into his eyes, saying everything I feel, with just a glance.

Rev Miller tells us it’s time for the Sand Ceremony:

sandc.jpg

I initially had intended to go with Unity Candles, but the script for the Sand Ceremony is so beautiful.

“As these two containers of sand are poured into the third container, the individual containers of sand will no longer exist, but will be joined together as one. Just as these grains of sand can never be separated and poured again into the individual containers, so will your marriage be.”

These are the perfect words and it captured our vision of marriage accurately.

sancc2.jpg

As I poured my sand, I poured my heart and soul.

The ceremony continued with the Reverend leaving us with words of wisdom. He then pronounced us husband and wife and said this “Steven you may now kiss your bride…your completer…your wife…Summer.

kiss.jpg

The perfect phrase…You complete me. No truer words have ever been spoken.

Our ceremony was over and I felt a twinge of sadness, it’s hard to describe what I felt when I stood at Sea Breeze Point, but I’ll try…

Knowing the many that have came before me and the many that are still to follow, there was a magic about this place. There’s a sparkle in the air, a flicker in the water and a glint in the eye of every couple who marries here. Its quiet beauty whispers old time romance. I was in awe of this place and felt blessed to have said my vows here. This point had seen hundreds if not thousands of couples marry before it and we were now among them. This place softly whispers the promises spoken beneath it and here is where they will always remain, supporting all who have wed here, for eternity.

We smiled and gazed into each others eyes and at that moment nothing else existed. We held each other tightly and whispered a few words, intended only for him and I, and swore, we would never let US go.

I have tears rolling down my face as I read your eloquent words. Your day was beautiful, Summer. My 4yo DD came and sat on my lap while I read and she was so excited to see a "princess!"

Wow! Wow! You are such a gifted writer. I felt like I was right there with you. Thank you so much for sharing your special moment with us. You two seem perfect for each other.
