Summer & Steven's Fairytale Wedding TR, 20th Aug SBP Baby Pics!!!

B2B-2008 - Thank you, yeah the cake thing was something I had worried about for a long time. I think Steven knew I would have been mad if he wrecked my make up.

Kirsteen - Thank you. We went to The Grand Floridian for lunch and pictures. We moved to The GF in a few days.

Hayley - YAY, a WDW wedding, there is nothing else like it. you will not be disappointd. I'm sure Els doesn't mind either now that he loves Disney as much as you!

meryll83 - I LOVE Randy, he was great. His eye for things is so unique, the angles and everything. We are both over the moon that we hired him.

The Charmed One - Thank you, I loved our wedding, I didn't think I would have been as happy as I was, all my planning had really came through.

MistressOfAllEvil - I will try and put in times for you. We had our wedding at 10.00am so it should give you an idea. It will be explained over the next couple of sections.

DisneyObsession - Yeah, I was quite surprised at how good my nails looked on camera, they were pretty hard to do anything with, very impractical.

oneyodafan - I watch my Sneak Peek every day and I can't go over how happy I am with it. Stan has done an amazing job so far and I can't wait to see the rest.

Missy H - Thank you, awww hope your daughters birthday was great.

So we finished off our pieces of cake and it must have been about 10.40am. The violinist had asked if we had any requests and I replied “Anything is fine” He took this literally and started playing ‘Anything’ He came over afterwards and asked if that was okay and we just laughed. I really have no idea what everyone else was doing while we ate but I remember looking over at one point and I saw Randy and Stan drinking water and having a well deserved break.
I knew we would be getting our pictures taken, so I asked Steven if I looked okay. I was aware that my hair was beginning to curl and I felt like my eye make up was sweating, yes, this can happen!
Steven replied that I looked beautiful, awww. I knew there was a reason I married him.

At this point Rev Miller came over and said he had to be going. He shook our hands and told us it was a pleasure to have been part of our special day. I wanted to say so many things to him but I was overwhelmed with the whole day. He gave us a big Congratulations and one of his infectious smiles and he was gone.

Rev Randall Miller was awesome. From the moment I received my first email response, I knew he was the guy for us. I had no idea I would be glowing so much about our Reverend choice as Rev Miller is not one of the more popular choices on the boards. I have no idea why, as the couples that have had him do their ceremony has always said nice things about him. Well to hell with nice things, we think he is the bomb!
He had always been friendly in his emails but my opinion dramatically changed when I had a crisis and ended up changing my wedding date. He offered to make himself available any day I wanted as he wanted to be a part of our day. I swear I had tears in my eyes when I read this response.
Since that day, Rev Miller has been wonderful.
I met him on my wedding day when I stepped out of the limo and I was so happy to see him. His smile could light up the darkest room and his voice is one of the kindest I’ve heard. When he spoke to me I felt genuine warmth. There was no act there; he was just a down to earth, nice guy.
Our ceremony went as planned and he added his own little touches that made it extra special. Our ceremony was unique and personalised to our tastes and he was more than willing to work on our ceremony with us. For him to offer to make a toast was very touching, I don’t think he is someone that I will ever forget. He made our day everything I could have hoped for and I will be talking about him for years to come.
My advice to any other upcoming brides is to book Rev Miller. He really made our day magical.

Randy came over and started positioning us for some shots:

I love this picture

We didn’t stay that long for pictures at SBP, mainly because I had stressed to Randy my love of beach photographs, so I knew we needed to move if I more time at The Grand Floridian. Here is a selection that Randy did get:

It was time to move on to the Boardwalk to get more pictures. The violinist came up to us and said his goodbyes and wished us all the best for the future. We thanked him for playing so beautifully.

Randy knew the kind of shots I wanted along The Boardwalk and here are a few of my favourites:

It was now 11.00am (MistressOfAllEvil).

It was surreal stopping for pictures and having everyone stop and watch. We had so many people wish us Congratulations just as we walked up The Boardwalk. When we reached the end there was a whole lot of people sitting down having coffee, all of them and I mean all of them stood up and clapped there hearts out, people were whooping. It was the strangest feeling I’ve ever had.

I was beginning to like this…

Summer, I have been thoroughly enjoying your trip report/wedding recaps!!!!!!!!!! :goodvibes I am only on page 11 or 12. I did want to tell you something I guess not everyone knows. The countries at EPCOT were required to build their own areas and they decided, with approval by Disney, I am sure, as to what aspects of their country they would re-create. Morocco, for instance, sent their own craftsmen to accurately to construct the mosaic work in that pavillion :wizard:

I really like the way they present the U.K.!1

I get the feeling this was the beginning of many pixie dustings... :wizard:

Thanks for including the timing!!

Patiently waiting for more :goodvibes

How far off is the Boardwalk area (all the shops and everything) from SBP?Is it a hike? I want to get formal pictures with all our guests/family/wedding party at SBP, and then more informal pictures along the boardwalk with just us and the wedding party... All the Boardwalk pictures I've seen, I absolutely LOVE!! Including yours Summer :thumbsup2

It's literally round the corner - if you look at Summer's pictures you can see the Boardwalk in the background on some of them....
In particular the one with Summer and Steven walking away from the camera at SBP hand in hand, that's the BW you can see in front of them.

I sort of guess that's why the UK Pavillion turned out as it did then. Being Welsh, I like Summer thought that the Pavillion did not portray a 'full' image of what the UK is, or what it has to offer. It is really 4 Countries, each with their own heritage and personality, and I feel only 1 Country was really represented...and again like Summer said, it was only like the 'posh' bit. When DBF went to Epcot 10 years ago, there was a Wales giftshop - but we were really disappointed to learn it's no longer there. That was my only complaint about Epcot...

You look absolutely beautiful Summer!! The way you describe your wedding is so amazing, and you leave us hanging on with every word!! I really wish you all the best and happiness with Steven, and hopefully we will actually meet next year!

We walked along GF beach to see the Wedding Pavillion whilst we were there, and Els said that's where we are going to get married :) It was so beautiful, and we were actually let inside to see it - but that's another story for my TR since I've crashed yours waaaay too much already :teeth:

I'm so glad that I started your report. I was down for my menu tasting when you started it, so that must be how I initially missed it. I'm only on pg. 10 and I'm already hooked. I love all the photos that you have included! I can't stop reading! :surfweb:

Then we were escorted to the middle of the floor for our first dance. Steven and I had discussed this at length. We both love music and dancing but choosing one song out of all the songs we love was very difficult. After months of debate we picked ‘From This Moment On’ by Shania Twain.

These lyrics are perfect…

“From this moment life has begun
From this moment you are the one
Right beside you is where I belong
From this moment on

From this moment I have been blessed
I live only for your happiness
And for your love I'd give my last breath
From this moment on

I give my hand to you with all my heart
Can't wait to live my life with you, can't wait to start
You and I will never be apart
My dreams came true because of you.”

We danced or rather we held each other. We spent the song gazing into each others eyes and whispering how happy we were:

We had this song played at our wedding - I love the words  - they are truly how I felt at my wedding (and it sounds like it was for you too)...

Great so far - I will catch up after I get back. :cool1:

Summer you truly are an amazing story teller. :)

I can't wait to hear the rest of yout TR, but don't want it to end!

Again wonderful to read. Beautiful photograph's. Again can't wait to read on, hoping this wedding report never end's, it's a joy to read.

Summer I am trying to catch up...Your pictures are great!!! Randy is awesome isn't he!!!! I love that one at the BW with the chandelier of horses - so cool!

Summer, all of your pictures are beautiful, as well as the way you put everything together in words. Can't wait to read more!

I also would love to see your wedding video. Somehow I must have missed it when it first went around.

Summer, I know you had pictures made after the wedding at GF, but I can't remember if you had pics made at MK or EPCOT in your wedding attire? I can't wait to see the GF pictures. The beach pics is what's pushing me towards Sunset Pointe(Polynesian) for our Vow Renewal. My only problem is it only holds 10 people. I'm still trying to decide.

I am going to have to remarry my honey just to have a wedding like yours! Everything looks beautiful.

Summer, I have been lurking the boards and have seen all your plans through the last few months, all I can say is PERFECT!!!!! You too look so very happy and so much in love. Wishing you both a lifetime of love, health and happiness!!

Summer - your photos just get better and better!! I don't know how you could ever narrow down your choices! They are just breathtaking! Loving your TR! You truly have a gift for writing! Well, I'd better get back to my studying ... until the next installment! :surfweb: :rotfl:

hhmmm, peanut butter and chocolate...that sounds delish!! I may try to order one for our room at the Grand on our honeymoon - is that possible?

I'm so thrilled for you and Steven - LOVe looking at all your photos - they almost tell the story themselves! and last night, after checking out Abby's sneak peak video, I introduced you and Steven to my sweetie!! he also sends his love and best wishes! I got all choked up listening to the two of you exchange vows again!!

Michelle :cloud9:
