Its been some time since our group has done a real summer trip to Disney, maybe 3-4 years. The kids are out of school the last Friday in May of 2011 so I am looking at May 29th-June 10th at our home resort BWV. Any thoughts on crowd levels during this time period? Thanks

Crowds will be less than the following summer weeks.

We are looking at the same time frame, since our grandkids can't take time off from school without penalty, and they have different fall and spring breaks. I am hoping that Memorial Day crowds will be lighter than Easter or President's day crowds. DH and I have been a lot with low crowds but the kids have never seen it without long lines and crowded paths. I guess we just need to do some good planning.

We've done this time period before with great luck. It can be crowded at the MK, but overall, the crowds are less than we've experienced later in the summer and much less than the Spring Break crowds. We like that time frame as it's warm enough for the water parks and resort pool, hopefully Star Wars Weekends have started by then and the crowds seem a "little" lighter.

We plan to be there next May at BLT the day after school is out. Unfortunately, the kids may miss a couple of baseball games, but we've sacrificed WDW for that the past several years for the heat and humidity of August.

Sounds great!! Our group is pretty laid back, my dd's will be 6 and 4, past mandatory naps (WOOHOO) and my ds, who will be 18, with his wonderful gf, also 18. It will be her first real trip to Disney so I am super excited about planning this one.
