Mini Rant:

I realize the dates have not been finalized and they may ultimately extend the MEP and fireworks shows anyway, but the rumors have it ending August 14. If you are going to bill something as a "Summer" event, shouldn't it run through Labor Day?

According to a pretty good rumor website here is the information they posted about dates for Summer Nightastic. You may have already seen this, but just throwing this out there for others.

We have good indication that the recently announced 'Summer Nightastic' will begin on June 6 2010 and run through to August 14 2010. This information is not yet officially confirmed, so as always, is subject to change.

Key words here are "not officially confirmed".

Yes, but their info is usually pretty accurate. I hope they are wrong in this case.

I hope they're wrong too, because I'm planning to visit around Labor Day. I would LOOOOVE to see the Main Street Electrical Parade again. I haven't seen it since I was a kid.

Oh Nooooo!!! We don't arrive until 8/14 and I was so excited about the Summer Nightastic offerings! I hope they extend it at least another week or two!

Us too, we arrive 8/14. Really wanted to see that parade again - the parade from my childhood!
