Summer internships at WDW-anyone with any experience?

Does anyone know what summer internships at WDW pertain to? DS has a friend who has worked with Disney's college program, is now campus contact for it, and claims that he has a permanent job in Disney Finance upon graduation this May (with the hiring freeze, I don't understand this). He has told DS that he might be able to get DS a summer internship there-it isn't college program, I guess, t's supposed to be for college graduates. Does anyone have any information about this?

I'm a college program alum. I know they've discontinued the summer program, but if you go to disneycollege.com it has info on all kinds of stuff. There are advanced internships listed on wdwcollegeprogram.com but I'm not sure if any of those are for summer. If nothing else, those websites should have numbers you can call for info.

you can only work the summer if you work during the fall or spring semester.
