I have participated in several exchanges over on the Community board and luckily for me have had great gifts every time. One of the packages I sent, though, took FOREVER to get there! It finally did though.

It stinks that you got shafted this time but dont let it spoil your future fun.

Mommytotwo.....i'm one of those unlucky people who never received a pkg. The person who got my name...should be ashamed! I'll never exchange again. I'll take the money and go by myself something...that way I won't be disappointed.

I have never participated in a exchange - although I have been considering it lately thinking it would be really fun! I must say though..... after reading this thread... I can't believe that an adult would choose to behave this way by entering a exchange without holding up their end of the deal ROTTEN I hope everytime you look at the package you recieved from a "honest" participant... you feel like crap!!! I feel really bad for the people who got a raw deal and all I can say is ~ try not to let this totally spoil exchanges for you...... I'd like to think there are still more honest people out there than not!!!

I agree. I know that it is unfortunate for something like this to happen, you would think that adults would finish up what they have started and be responsible for it right. I have had participants in some of my exchanges do just that also, but we figured it out and they were sent packages by other kind DISers. There are exchanges that are presently going on, and hopefully one day you may change your mind and give it another chance. Hopefully your exchange will show up or something will show up in replace of it.

I have done quite a few exchanges on the rewards board for awhile we did one for basically every holiday and everyone was really great!!

We all posted when we shipped and replied when we recieved.

usually we had to guess who our "secret pal" was.

it was alot of fun and eveyone got really nice things.

I only had one issue--I sent out my package on time--well time went on and everyone was saying what they all got expect nothing from "my pal" until quite a bit later I get a PM from the person i charge saying my pal never got her package.

I felt terrible. I PM the in charge and I guess she put work adreress instead of home so the package was at work?!!!!!

I had people participate in exchanges and then just disappear also and it does make you wonder what's going on.
I had done a few on the rewards board also and it had gone over well.

Ive always had good luck with the packages going and coming like they should!!!

I cant think of her name the one that seems to have started the exhanges but she had a baby awhile back.

I wondering how she's doing!!!

My exchangee-Kate aka forevryoung had already sent me an exchange which I loved, but also sent me more things together. What a wonderful surprise. I had gotten-
A stuffed Eeyore plush, a floral notepad with pen, and a floral photo album.
