Summer Discounts?

Hello,

There are no room-only or AP discounts available right now for July. We usually don't go to WDW in the summer so I'm not sure if this is the norm. Does anyone know if they typically release them this late, or did I wait too long to book? There's plenty of hotel availability and it's before Galaxy's Edge so I was kind of surprised. Thanks in advance for any insight!

We are in the same boat. We normally do not go in the summer either but are going in early/mid August this year. The summer promos all ended on 3/24, which according to mousesavers is early for the summer promos to end. I'm baffled too as there is also tons of availability for our dates and SWGE will not be open yet. Why Disney ended the summer promos already but still has a promo going for dates through end of May is

The FL resident rate discount is still going also through June 30th. And the special Discovery tickets starting at $175 for the three day is also still available till the same date.

Summer discounts are usually good and plentiful. Summer resort discounts came out early this year, then were recently pulled from circulation. Multiple other threads have been created about this. The consensus is that the late-August opening of Star Wars is causing them to not want any more of those dates discounted. They will probably soom come out with another set of summer resort discounts that don't include late summer.

I just booked a passholder discount rate for June (offer is only good through 6/30) and then got a survey with lots of questions regarding passholder discounts. It was interesting. Disney surveys make me nervous because it means they are rethinking the passholder discount in some way or another. Fingers crossed they are thinking of offering deeper passholder discounts more often!

In the same boat! Just started thinking about an extra getaway in July and was hoping for an AP discount. So I’m watching and waiting. Fingers crossed!
