For our 20th annivesary :love2:? He's a straight arrow type; no way he will wear a pin. Maybe something I could arrange through WL? Thanks.

Embarrass and humiliate? As a "Happy Anniversary" surprise?

That certainly is a unique way to say "I Love You".

My dh is just like that, but when you get the pin and you make a big deal about it in front of the CM's, he MAY just cave like my dh did. I had to do ambushes everywhere we went. If you have ADR's, call in a cake ahead of time. They come out and make a big deal at your table and the characters give you a card. At the hotels, you can tell the desk cm's and sometimes they have cards and balloons delivered to your room. Happy Anniversary! :flower:

Don't they have wedding ears now? He may not wear them, but if you do I think people will get the picture.

Bwaaa, ha, ha, ha, ha... Great ideas! You all are cracking me up. This is going to be fun! :rotfl:

Are you staying at WL? If so, you HAVE to do Whispering Canyon!!! Just tell them you want them to go overboard, and they will!

For DH's 35th b-day, they had him and the kids ride stick horses around the restaurant, with the kids singing happy birthday, and he had to sing "Happy birthday to ME!" really loud, or they would make him do it again! It was hysterical! Our waitress was a hoot, and it was alot of fun. Check the dining boards for other WC experiences. Good luck!

If you think that he will really like this stuff then go for it, but if he would just be mortified and embarrassed like my husband (of 29 years), or myself for that matter, I would think of something special quiet and romantic and enjoy a beautiful day with him.

Go to Prime Time Diner at MGM. OMG, my hubby was so embarrased because he tried to hide the green beans. By the time the waitress was done "scolding" him, the whole restaurant knew. LOL She also put a Little mermaid bib on him.
It was the funniest!!!!!!!!!!

I saw "Congratulations" buttons similar to the Happy Birthday buttons that you get from Town Hall in Magic Kingdom. If you are going to the Hoop De Doo, I think they can do a good job of embarassing folks if you let them know in advance.

I can second the Whispering Canyon! We were there a few weeks back for our 10th and the server quieted everyone down and introduced as his good friends who had been married 10 years and then he had us together race around the restaurant on stick horses while everyone clapped and cheered Happy Anniversary!! Dh is not one to make a scene or anything, so it was pretty funny seeing him like that, we laughed the whole way around!! And our kids thought it was the funniest thing they had ever seen!!! :rotfl:
