a friend of mine is going to WDW with her husband and 4 children for the FIRST time ever in her (or their) life....
i was unaware of this until today when she called....
she told me she has reservations in a suite hotel in clermont...
well..i just looked it up and it looks like it's 40 miles from WDW....
maybe it's not that much, but really there must be a reasonably priced suite hotel that's closer than that...

they're only going for 3 days, so the closest possible would be the best in my opinion....they have 4 kids (8,10,12, 14)...
the place in clermont has a kitchen.....so this should have a kitchen too.....the one in clermont costs $79....i told here i was sure there must be something for $129 or so that's closer than what she found...

so does anyone know a place like that?...
i was hoping there was something in lake buena vista, but wherever, that's reasonably priced and close would be welcome..

thanks in advance for your help!!!

I've read about folks finding suites at Grand Cypress and Grand Cypress Villas on hotelkingdom.com at reasonable rates. I think one of the drawbacks is that they may charge the entire amount op front. The Villas are just around the corner from DTD, not too far from POR.

I would check with the Holiday Inn Family Suites and Homewood Suites. There should be a Homewood Suites in either Buena Vista or Kissimmee (which is also a handy location). Embassy Suites is nearby but likely too expensive. They'll have to ask about the full kitchens.

They could also consider renting a full house. I've heard some amazing stories about people getting a house for a low price. The problem is that these places usually rent for a full week.

You could also search Expedia for suites hotels. Some may not be in Buena Vista but I just know they could closer than they are now!

Another one just came to mind. Hawthorn Suites has some two bedroom units at some of their locations so they might be worth checking out too.

Good luck!

Cypress point grande villas would be great! The 2 BR has a king bedroom with bath, another BR with 2 twins, a sleeper sofa in LR and a second bath. It has a full kitchen and washer & dryer. It's really convenient to Disney as well.

It looks like the 2br goes for $89 and the 3 BR for $131 for most of the summer.
