If we are going to Sea World for 2 days ------ then go to Disney World for 2 days === What is a nice Place to stay near Sea World - Or should we stay at DW Resort and Drive each day to SW ???

I am interested to see what others say.

Sea World is one park which could easily be done in one day, although it could be great fun to go for two days. The benefit here is that second day is often free.

Disney World is FOUR parks (Magic Kingdom (1 - 2 days), Epcot (1 - 2 days), Disney Hollywood Studios (3/4 day), and Animal Kingdom (3/4 day)) Unless you have gone to Disney many times in the past and know what you want to miss, I worry you may regret that you only have 2 days there. However - it does cost extra to add the extra day - +$62 adult/$53 child for the third day, +$8 per person to add the fourth day. After that it is approximately $5 per person per day. If you only go for 2 days you will have to make some very, very tough choices.

The benefits of staying at Disney and driving to Seaworld instead of the opposite:

Magic express from the airport if you are not going to drive
Being able to let Disney do the transportation on the days you go to Disney parks.
Free parking on WDW resort (even the parks) when you stay at an onsite hotel.

The benefits to staying elsewhere - you will have many many cheaper options which could save you a lot of money!

Here is my info about getting from Disney to seaworld or DC
Disney to Sea World/Discovery Cove (across the street from each other):

1. Cheapest Option: Take #50 LYNX bus from TTC or Downtown Disney to Sea World
Click here to link to the LYNX schedule It leaves TTC at 1 minute and 31 minutes after the hour (running every 1/2 hour from 6:31 am - 12:01 am) and leaves DTD at 19 and 49 minutes after each hour. You can return at 10# and 40# after the hour from 5:40 am to 11:10 pm It is $2.00 each way for an adult and $1.00 for a child (young babies may be free).

2. You can arrange a Shuttle through Mears Transportation I think it should be $19 pp round trip

3. You can get a cab, Mears' fare estimator indicates it is about 10 miles from Epcot to Sea World with an estimated fare of $25 each way, so if you have 3 people, the cab is cheaper than the shuttle. When we did this, it was a tiny bit less. They have big cab vans which I think cost the same as the ones that look like yellow town cars.

4. You can also schedule a towncar for $37 each way. I wouldn't though. The mears cabs are every bit as nice as a town car on the inside. The only difference is that they are yellow.

This link should get you to a PDF of their current prices

5. You can rent a car right at Disney for about $35 pd - check out Mousesavers for latest Coupons I considered that but I've never driven in Orlando before.

There is nothing like being in then the middle of the magic! I would stay on site. We always have rental car and drive to SW or DC. I think both of those parks close earlier than Disney parks so if you want to be out late to catch Fireworks at Epcot or MK then its nice to be closer to your room after a long day in the parks.

Sorry, I thought I should also mention that if you stay onsite you can get early arrival and late stay(depending on when you are going). This will help stretch the time you have since it's only 2 days.
