Suggestions Please

I am really having a hard time deciding where to eat when we are Magic Kingdom. First of all it will be a long day 9am-2am. We have plenty of time and are interested in leaving the park to eat.

Crystal Palace for lunch or dinner is not appealing based on the reviews(convince me) and looks like we have reservations for Plaza for dinner. We like to do things in reverse.

Maybe leaving my boat?

So give me your suggestions. We are staying at Shades of Green.

Ohana dinner at the polynesian is one of our favorites. We happen to like the crystal palace. We do 2 or 3 visits to Disney a year, and crystal palace is a must for us...maybe I'm just easily pleased???

Are you intending to stay all that time? SoG isn't particularly far from MK. I don't think I could make it all day from 9am til 2am. I would leave for a break, maybe a nap or a few laps in the pool if weather permits and then head back for a long evening.

What about Crystal Palace for an 8:00 breakfast before the park opens? We won't do buffets at Disney for dinner (except Cape May and Biergarten) after our last bad meal at Chef Mickey's and two horrible experiences at Hollywood & Vine. Personally, I'd skip WCC (it's on the list with H&V of "you couldn't pay us to eat there ever again"). If you don't want a breakfast, how about Kona at the Polynesian or the Wave at the Contemporary--both get really good reviews.

That's a long day.

My niece and I did long days like that but I took her back for a nap in the afternoon. Shades of Green isn't very far from the MK.

I would switch the Plaza for a lunch and do dinner at one of the resorts. I don't think the resorts have TS lunch.

You have several choices of nearby Resorts to choose from that are just a monorail ride or boat ride away.

At the Contemporary- Chef Mickey's and The Wave
At the Poly - Ohana and Kona Cafe
At the GF- 1900 PF and GFC
At WL- WCC
At FW- Trail's End Buffet
