First, I have to say, I was so annoyed! I wrote this whole post earlier and was all set to post it and my internet connection was interrupted and I could NOT get the message back. So here I go again....

I need some help with ADRs for Sept/Oct.
We ( dh, dd and i) are annual visitors to wdw. However, all of our other trips have either been in Dec or Feb.
So this is a new time of year for us to be visiting and this time our dd will be 2.5 years old.

I am hoping you all can give me some "must eat at" table service places.
We booked last Dec to get the free ddp. We will be there Sept 29-Oct 8.

Here is a list of places we have been to and therefore have opinions of:
Crystal palace, crt, chef mickeys, kona cafe, ohana, boatwrights, shutters, cape may cafe, rainforest cafe, mama melroses, hollywood & vine, le cellier, nine dragons, rose and crown, coral reef, akershus, cap n jacks, planet hollywood, fultons, and house of blues.

I am sure I have forgotten at least 1 or 2.
We also have friends who will be traveling to WDW at the same time, staying at Treehouses. They are a party of 5 adults and 1 child.
We plan to do a few meals with them.

So what are your suggestions or MUST eat at?

We are family of 3- with a 2.5 yr old girl

as a side note, she loves ANYTHING mickey ( and MMCH) , as well as snow white, cinderella, ariel, and toy story!

TIA!

Do you have a problem repeating some of the places you've been? There's really nothing different about eating during that time of year except for the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival. It opens on October 1st and will likely be crowded that weekend.

If you plan on hitting the food kiosks that week to nosh around World Showcase as a meal replacement (and yes, you can spend a lot of money and skip a meal!), go on a weekday Monday through Thursday to avoid long lines at the kiosks.

As far as restaurants, check out the menus either here or at AllEarsNet.
Pick places that have food that appeals to you, and you should be set.

Our favorite restaurants include:
- Chef Mickey
- 1900 Park
- Teppan Edo
- California Grill
- Ohana

For you I would suggest returning to the restaurants that your family liked in the passed. There is nothing wrong with that. I would suggest Teppan Edo as my kids were entertained by the chef when they were her age. In addition, I would suggest California Grill. I know what you are thinking but it is really kid friendly. Inside the bread basket that they give you they have goldfish if you have kids. The table is covered with paper and the kids can draw on it with crayons which entertains them and you also have a beautiful view of the Magic Kingdom and not to mention the delicious food at the California Grill. 1900 Park is also great for breakfast. They have make- your-own omelet and the typical breakfast foods but we love it! If your daughter likes certain characters go to restaurants where you can meet them (Chef Mickey, CRT, etc.) I hope this helps and I hope you enjoy your trip!

Your daughter will probably enjoy looking at the fish at Coral Reef. It is my daughter's all time favorite restaurant and she requests to go there on each trip. The first time she ate there she was in kindergarten. :goodvibes

I would like to suggest the Hoop De Doo Review. Our granddaughter thought it was hilarious at age 2 1/2. At first she was a little startled by the very loud noise when the show started - but warmed up to it within a few seconds.
She also loved 50's Prime Time in HS - but mostly because her older brother had to go to time out (she also liked the food, tho).
She really liked the Tusker House Bkfst in AK - Donald, Mickey, Pluto, etc all came by our table. It was loud and boisterous - but the grandchildren loved the whole atmosphere - and we (the grown-ups) thought the juice was great - and the food was a bit better than what was served at most other bkfst buffets.
Please come back & tell us what you decide - and review the places you choose.
Have a great trip. I don't think there's anything more magical than seeing Disney through the eyes of a young child!

Well, you are going at the same time as me....... not sure if I should let you know where we want to eat.
