Suggestions for what to do with a group of newbie adults.

I will be in Disneyland on Friday Feb 8th and Sat the 9th. On Friday, I will probably be solo. I've been to Disneyland many times but never alone. Any suggestions for things to do that are different. For example, I'm usually with my kids and they only want to do rides, I'd like to slow it down and see the Snow White exhibit in DCA. Any others?

On the Sat. 4 of my husbands colleagues from work will be joining us. None of them have been to Disneyland since they were children. We will only have the one day and I will be the fastpass runner. What do you think are the most important things to focus on. I will be sure to hit the mountains, Indy and the Big 3 in DCA (leaving out Grizley). What else should I encourage so that they get the "feel" of Disneyland.

I'm going on a solo trip in a couple weeks, and my biggest thing is that I'm going to take some moments to just totally slow down and look around. Take some pictures.

On the other hand, I'm going to rush when I want to.

The classics too (ex: Jungle & Pirates)! They probably will remember that from when they might have gone as children. Pirates is good even if they've never been because of the movies. If you get a chance, do the Golden Horseshoe show - is fun for adults.

As an avid photographer, it has allowed me to slow down and catch things I would have otherwise missed. Being by yourself should, if you so desire, allow you to do the same. Have fun, enjoy the ambiance, and see things you've never seen before. Crowds will never bother you when you stop to smell the roses.

Great ideas. I didn't think of the Golden Horseshoe. That would be fun. We'll miss the Jungle Cruise since I think it will be in referb. but we'll be sure to hit the Haunted Mansion and Pirates.

I'm really excited for my time alone. I am typically a commando since I want to be sure everyone gets what they want done. It will be nice to enjoy the shops a little and see some attractions we usually push past. I've never seen the First 50 Years.

I know that I would stop and have a glass of wine or two or three at the Terrace Wine Tasting and do Seasons of the Vine (if its still around). After your ride Soarin' once, then you know its a lot more interesting with a bit of a buzz.

Speaking of which, Buzz Lightyear is a lot more interesting with a bit of a buzz too.

Seriously I love a good red wine and my husband is always teasing me about loving it a little too much! When my Doctor told me to have a glass each night for my good cholesterol, I almost kissed him.
I am putting your suggestion high on my list for my solo day. I enjoy Sorin under normal circumstances and I imagine I could like it a little more this way.

I just looked it up through google and your right there is one. Its in the animation studio and there are displays of Snow White and pictures of the graphic animation set up in the middle of the room as you walk in.

I'm going to be there on that Friday too, sans DH & DS, with friends. I was SO happy that the conference I'm attending was back in Anaheim this year, just down the street from DLR!!
