Suggestions for Surprising Kids

We had planned on going next Christmas but due to several reasons we decided to book for this December. Can't wait. We were able to get the resort we wanted and almost all TS restaurants - and less than two months out We have NOT told DS (9) and DS (12).

I have a couple of ideas but welcome any suggestions. They are not "little" so something age appropriate would be great.

There is a chance we will be having a family Christmas the day (or two) before we leave so that might provide an opportunity.

I will be driving down with the boys and my husband will be joining us the day we arrive. (He teaches and can't leave until school is done ) So, just packing them in the car and heading out really isn't an option since my husband wants to be involved with the surprise.

If you are having a family Christmas maybe you could order the maps and then wrap them up as a gift for both of your boys to open and then tell them they need to start planning the rides they wanna go on because your heading that way, such and such date.

I think it would be cool if you could drive all the way down there (and make them you are driving somewhere else) and then show up at Disney! Arrange it so you can get there the same time as DH.
