Suggestions for St. Thomas Excursions. HELP PLEASE!!!

Hello all,

Which excursion should we take. My wife loves the beach and hates water over her head, my son (8) and I love snorkeling and adventure. We have seen pictures of Trunk Bay and would like to experience it, but I have read some threads saying that the trip to and from the island makes the whole trip not worth it. I'm putting this in "poll" form to make it easy for all.

I vote for something not on here - the Eco Hike of St. John. You get to snorkel and go to some beautiful and more remote - less touristy beaches. It is a great way to experience the island.

But I voted for Captain Nautica because I have heard great things about it.

Trunk Bay is worth staying away from simply because when the ships are in it gets super crowded and over swam making it murky and not so nice to snorkel. Go on one of the other excursions such as the Dubloon Sail or Captain Nautica that wil take you to other snorkeling locations.

I too have heard great things about Capt. Nautica. I haven't actually been. Your son will love the speed boat.

Yes, I believe she can enjoy the beach on St. John while you guys get to snorkel. Check out this site.
