Not too much to offer here, but me and some friends went to Ayia Napa after leaving sixth form during summer 2011. We had a good look around for all-inclusive deals etc and eventually settled on a self-catered 18-30's owned hotel. Personally I found Ayia Napa very expensive and from what I can gather from others, Greece in general is more expensive for these types of holidays than the Spanish islands. I think it cost us about £450 for the holiday itself (we stayed in a horrible, horrible hotel - but so does everyone!) and I spent around 350 euros for 1 week away. However, I did have friends on the same holiday that managed to spend over 1000 euros!!
I would totally advise against 18-30s holidays, which I assume is the type of thing your DS will be looking at. We were completely conned into giving an extra 200 euros for events that were quite frankly not worth the money and events that were wrongly advertised as being the official island's 'party events'. I don't mean to just put a downer on 18-30s but I honestly wished someone warned me prior.
There are some good deals out at the moment however; good luck with your DS!
