Hope you knowlegable people can help with this!

We are headed to DLP at the beginning of December, arriving Friday and leaving Sunday on the direct Eurostar service. I want to book a nice, sit down meal for the Sunday lunch time before we head back to the station at about 4pm. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I was thinking of Auberge de Cendrillon but it looks as if it's a buffet rather than the a la carte menu and I really wanted a nice, waiter service sit down meal.

What is the Blue Lagoon like? Does anyone have a copy of the menu? I was looking on the DLP Food website (which is fab) but they don't have one!

I would be very greatful for any suggestions! :wave2:

I would recommend Blue Lagoon every time, and I do! The atmosphere is second to none as you sit in a Craibbean beach themed restaurant and watch the boats from Pirates of the Caribbean pass by. The menu specialises in seafood - King Prawn Kebabs, Red Snapper and Emperor Fish, lovely Tuna - it has changed every time we've been so it's hard to say what will be on it - seafood is about as specific as I could be!

I agree. DH had a very nice chicken curry there, in case you don't like seafood.

I'd like to be different and suggest somewhere else but i'd only be lying :):):):)

Blue Lagoon HAS to be my fav too.

is it me being blind, or does the disneyland food guide - dlpfoodguide.com site not actually have any menus? :badpc:

If you go to the restaurant you want, then click "menu" at the top of the screen it should open the menu in a new window. For example, click here for the Blue Lagoon:
http://www.dlpfoodguide.com/bluelagoon.html and then click on menu :)

for atmosphere id have to agree with the blue lagoon, especially if there is two of you, they put you right by the water of the ride which is pretty amazing.the waitresses there are always really nice to me and my friend. The food there though isnt always of the best quality, although myself ive had nothing but great experiences there,a lot has been said about cold meals, and i guess uve gotta be pretty into your sea food.they do a very nice(if a bit small!) steak there too.

For food, assuming your looking for something a bit more sophisticated than annettes diner! Id say look no further than the silver spur steakhouse near the haunted mansion.absolutely lovely food, really nice.

Are you sure the buffet is still going I read somewhere that it was just a summer thing. I certainly had a a la carte meal there in may before the summer season started

Auberge de Cebdirllion was still serving a buffet last week between 11.30 and 4.30.

Wow, thanks for all the responses guys, looks like it's Blue Lagoon then! Can I make reservations or do they have a PS system like WDW? If so, can I book it when we arrive at Newport Bay or should I call them before?

7 weeks today we will be waiting for the Eurostar, getting very excited now!

You can book it at your hotel, through City Hall at the park or at the restaurant.
Unless you are going when it will be seriously busy you should not have any problems booking it on arrival.
