We will be down at WDW Oct 5th-11th. For a couple of days...Sunday October 9th and Monday October 10th...we will be meeting up with numerous family members. In total it will be 13 of us ( with a possibility of 4 more on top of that). Does anyone have any suggestions as to which restaurants can handle large groups...or can all of them as long as we make ps's. We are thinking of doing MGM on Sunday with Mama Melroses's for dinner with fantasmic. Monday doing MK during the day...so dinner somewhere there or at Epcot. Thank you in advance!!

We did a large group (16 - kids and adults) last year at Artist Point and it worked beautifully. I might try for one of the resort restaurants as they tend to be a little less crowded. Good luck.

Most all places can "handle" larger parties, but even with PS's (AR's) at some of them you might not be able to be at 1 table. We had a party of 8 and were able to get 1 table everywhere (even though the PS for some were for split tables). Boma and 'Ohana seemed to be pretty good for large parties. At smaller places like CRT you might have trouble.

Easter weekend we had a large group 14. When I made the PS's (as they were then) I was told we would be at 2 tables by disney dining. When we got to Portabello Yacht Club it was one big table. I told the hostess what I had been told she said dining is told to tell large groups they will be split up, but as long as its not last minute the restaurants will seat you together. Same thing at Artist Pointe.

We just returned from our trip with a group of 13. Chef Mickey's, 'Ohana, Whispering Canyon, and Le Cellier put us at one table (a couple pushed together). CRT, Donald's Breakfastasaurus, LTT, HDD, and PSB put us at two separate tables. 50's Primetime wins the prize though...they put us at 3 tables in two different rooms.

Thanks for the comments!! Does anyone know if Mama Melrose's can accomodate large parties and what about the Japanese grill in Epcot? And Subeat ( or anyone else)...what restaurants does HDD and PSB stand for:) ? Thanks again!!!

We did a grand gathering of 23 last Christmas. We did several different places. Liberty tree tavern, we could have all sat together on this one at the opening of the restaraunt, but we got there late (Disney Buses) and they had to split us up. We did the sit down restaraunt in Mexico (cant think of the name) Sci-Fi- I thought it was the best for a large group. We were seperated, but were able to get up and go to each others tables since there is so much room in between the cars. We also did the Princess Breakfast in Epcot. They onlly had to split us into two tables.

Hope this helps.

I think the HDD stands for Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue... PSB is Princess Storybook Breakfast (Restaurant Akershaus in Norway, Epcot)
