Suggestions for good cheap luggage?

Ours is the old soft sided kind with 4 small wheels that tips when you pull it through the airport.

We're looking for a new set...updated in style with a lot of room, but not too expensive. We only fly when we go to Disney, so it doesn't have to be top of the line.

Any suggestions??

I'm not sure if you have a Kohl's department store in your area, but they usually have good sales on luggage. I have had good luck with their "Sonoma" brand of luggage. Also, I work in a retail store, and we always seem to be having luggage that is discontinued, so we mark it cheap to get rid of it. Usually the only reason it is discontinued is because the company re-designed it with different fabric, or more pockets or something like that. Sears or JCPenney sells luggage and sometimes they have good luggage sales as well.

I'm not sure if you have a Ross store where you are but I usually find they have the same things as dept. store but for less than half the price. A friend bought two pieces a couple of months back to travel overseas and she was really happy with the price and the quality.

Wal mart has luggage for really low prices!

I second that! We got ours there and it works great. They have a 4 or 5 piece set that is all rolling and stackable for $80ish dollars and they also have regular large cases, rolling for around $50. we looked everywhere and couldn't find anything that cheap and it is all American Tourist.

Target has really nice Eddie Bauer luggage for extremely reasonable prices. I studied abroad in Spain for nine months and it survived a trip there, two trips home (both ways) and a final return trip home. Also I don't know if you have a TJMaxx or not but they get name brand closeouts and you can find excellent deals on luggage.

we got a nice 5 piece set from Target for under $50. (31" rolling,29" rolling,20" pilot case, and two smaller bags) I got another 31" bag from Hechts for $29. This gives our family of three enough to get to disney and they store inside one another :goodvibes

Another vote for Target....if that doesn't work out, try Costco!

I have luggage from wal-mart that has held up very well, it's been on many flights, even a college trip to Ireland (not all of our hotels had elevators = pushing luggage up & down stairs) and no problems.

DBF get me a nice red luggage set from Kohl's for a good price and it too is holding up very well.
