Suggestions for Gluten-Free and Vegan

Blaze pizza and Erin Mckenna bakery in Disney springs meet both those criteria. My daughter is a vegan but doesn't need GF, she likes tusker house, California grill, kona cafe, coral reef and sunshine seasons.

I'm not vegan, so I can't say but as far as GF goes, I would say all. Every one. I have yet to have a bad or bland GF experience at any QS or TS restaurant we've ever eaten at. WDW is incredible for GF - it's quite literally part of the vacation for me, being able to eat foods I never get to eat when I eat out at home! Some meals that seem to pop in my brain are Sanaa, breakfast at Boma, Skipper's Canteen, Plaza, Beaches N Cream, Ohana, just to name a few!

Pandora at AK has a new counter service that offers a build your own bowl with tofu that is vegan if you don't have the boba balls and you order the correct sauce which I think is a chimichurri. I would guess that is also going to be gluten free. The vegan at disney world blog has some good info and their is also a veg at disney world FB group that is helpful.

I am GF and pescatarian....I would agree with Lady_hlh that the new place at AK, Sautli Canteen is delicious!! The tofu was amazing! Also, love Sanaa, Trattoria al Forno, Raglan Road, Beaches and Cream (for sundaes). Personally, I would avoid O'Hana -- I couldn't really find anything to eat there, lots of meat and not worth the price.

I don't know if I'm breaking the rules by posting a link, but check out: http://www.glutenfreedairyfreewdw.com/. While she's not vegan, you may get some ideas.

I have no experience with GF, but Sanaa and Boma have a lot of vegan curries. You could call Disney ahead of time and ask.

What are your favorite locations and meals for GF and Vegan?

My DD is GF vegetarian but used to be vegan. Restaurants can change vendors, so what may be GFVs safe now could change. You have to ask, every single time.

Sanaa is very good and they have a dedicated GF menu. Sci Fi can make shakes from soy or rice cream, and there she typically gets a veg GF pasta dish made. Satuli Canteen has tofu bowls but not all the sauces are safe, again, always ask. Frontera was really good. Many other table service restaurants can make GFV meals. We don't typically eat at buffets, but a chef will show you what is safe and make you fresh items in the back and bring them to you so no cross contamination. Trail's End's Chef TJ is awesome at this!

Also, Nomad Lounge had some good apps. And check out Veg Disney and Disney Chefs Rock Food Allergies on Facebook.

Is that where Chef TJ is these days? He is my favorite - I may need to add Trail's End to my upcoming trip!

I am following along with this post since I have just eliminated gluten. I have been to WDW once as a vegan last year but was not GF yet. I have booked Sanaa for the bread service which I had last time which was GF and was amazing. Going to go to blaze which I had last time but will try the GF crust this time. Blaze has vegan cheese. I believe pizza rizzo has a GF crust and vegan cheese at HS but have not checked yet myself. Going to BOG for lunch and somebody said the quinoa salad was pretty good so I may try that. Hoping to try Erin Mckenna bakery at some point which is vegan and GF. Pecos Bill at MK has beans and rice you can get and add toppings too like guacamole, lettuce and tomatoes. Hoping to check that out also. Depending if you are going after me I can let you know how my trip goes.

It will be another year before we go so I would love to know about your trip! I've been ordering from Erin McKenna for years (when it was called Babycakes). The majority of the time her items are wonderful (donuts are my fave) but several times the items very dry. If you order ahead they will deliver to some resorts and/or restaurants.
