DH & I will only have one day at Epcot during our May trip. What would be a good place for lunch? :confused3

We're open to all types of food and would prefer to try the unique offerings of Epcot rather than hamburger, hotdogs, pizza. With only one day in the park, I'm thinking of CS to save time but can be flexible :lmao:

We'd like to try someplace new and plan to do TS dinner at Restaurant Marrakesh; we've been to:
  • Tangerine Cafe (lunch)
  • France's bakery (lunch)
  • Coral Reef (dinner)
  • Chefs de France (dinner)
  • Rose & Crown (dinner)
Of course, we'll have France's crepes and Grey Goose slushies for snacks. :p

Thx for any recs :goodvibes

cheers,
:flower3:

You should try the Yakitori House in Japan. We love that place...the food is excellent.

We have stopped at the mexican CS and liked it, I know sometimes it doesent get great reviews but we thought it was tasty!

Also fish and chips from the UK counter service was good

My mom and I also had lunch one day at the Norway bakery, she had some type of soup and sandwich(sorry I cant remember what kind) and she really enjoyed them, me I had the school bread for my lunch and it was yummy!

Thx a mint for your replies, skellingtonfreak and danalee :goodvibes I checked out their menus and those both sound and look like great options. We'll try one or the other depending on where in Epcot we are when the hunger monster arrives :rotfl:

cheers,
:flower3:

I would also check out Sunshine Seasons. I like it because of all the options. It satisfies everyone no matter what people want!

thx a mint for that, onelilspark - I'll check out the menus for that too. Definitely enough options no matter where we are in Epcot :goodvibes

cheers,
:flower3:

I will not leave Epcot without eating at both Tangierine Cafe (Morocco) and Yakitori House (Japan). Others are good, too, but those are must-dos!!! The food is very tasty. I though the Yorkshire Fish House was kind of boring, and the Mexican CS is just ok, and very hit-or-miss. The rest is somewhere in-between, in my taste.

I highly recommend the fish & chips in UK!

The egg rolls in China were good - not the most outstanding in the world, but good.

I haven't tried the CS place in Japan, but can't wait to next time based on the replies you've gotten. I CAN say that the Kaki Gori ices are SOO worth trying!

Thx a mint everyone for the additional replies - I've made notes of them :thumbsup2

Podcast Pete commented on those Kaki Gori ices but I had totally forgotten about them until you mentioned it. DH loves sno-cones so he will really get a kick out of them - thx for the reminder. :goodvibes

cheers,
:flower3:
