Suggestions for eating at Epcot & MGM

Hello,
This is our first time staying at an Epcot area resort (Swan).
It's me, DH & DS (3).
I would appreciate suggestions for lunches and dinners at Epcot/MGM or Boardwalk area.
We are not early risers so we learned last year not to waste $$$ planning breakfast meals. We have alloted a pretty good budget for food so money is not an issue (well of course it's an issue - but we are not on a tight budget for meals is what I mean).

I have done some research and I am considering:
Le Cellier for lunch
the restaurant in The Land for either lunch, dinner or maybe just the ice cream social
MGM Prime Time for dinner - or would lunch be better?
Gullivers @ the Swan for dinner?

What are some good snack or light meal favorites at Epcot?

What about PS's are they necessary even for lunches?

Thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks!

At EPCOT we love to eat at the Garden Grill for lunch. It's a character lunch, the food is brought to the table family style and is pretty tasty! Then you can ride Living with the Land and let some of your lunch settle before heading back out in the park.

I don't know if you like French food, eating at one of the restaurants at that pavillion at night can be special. They dim the lights and you can watch Illuminations from your table

At MGM, the Prime Time Cafe is fun and the food is not to bad there either. Mama Melroses is good , as well. Not sure if they're still doing the Fantasmic Dinner Package, but that was a good deal... dinner then they give you a pass for seating in a roped area for the show. We had kids with us on that trip and it cut down on the wait.

I agree with looking at a list of what's available in each park, some things might appeal to you or fit your plans for the day better.

We just returned from doing the Fantasmic pkg. at Mama Melrose - it used to be a favorite of ours. The menu has changed and we didn't eat much. Cost $100 for 2 adults, 2 children. It rained that night and 2 whole sections of the show sat empty.
We will maybe try Hollywood/Vine for pkg in July - but we will not return to Mama's.

Also ate at Prime Time and we really enjoyed that. Meatloaf and Fried Chicken were great.

If you want a quiet, relaxed lunch with fun entertainment and yummy, DIFFERENT food, try Restaurant Marakesh at Epcot. It's located waaaaay in the back of the Morroccan pavillion and has a wide variety of food that you just can't get anywhere else at WDW. Every time I've been there, it's been nearly empty around lunch time.
Also on my favorites list is Restaurant Akershus in Norway. It's a bit more expensive, but it's all you can eat and the cold buffet includes peel & eat shrimp, which is one of my favorite foods. Try the Venison stew and the brown cheese!
