suggestions for dog boarding in Orlando

Now that we are down here, we don't have a pet sitter.

I am not thrilled to have to board my dogs (I don't like to do it, I did it a few times in the past-the last time having a bad experience) but I need to go out of town with my husband for 3 days to see family and bringing the dogs is not an option this time.

Does anyone have a place that they reccommend, or for that matter suggestions on places to stay away from...

I've found a bunch of places online and there are a few I am going to drop in on and ask to have a tour of but any reccomendations are greatly appreciated!

I am not going to be much help but the new pet resort in Disney looks awesome! When I asked about it, I believe the prices start at about $35 a day.

I actually tossed that idea around- I mean at least if it is part of Disney, there should be an increased chance that they are going to be treated nice.

Airport Pet. They are located on Orange Ave not too far from the Florida Mall and they are fantastic people that have a friendly staff and treat the pets great! They have a website, www.airportpet.com
One of the best conveniences is that someone is there 24/7 with the animals and they will let you drop off and pick up at odd hours. Very handy if you have a really early/late flight where most other places are standard hours.

I have used them several times and we have been very pleased with this place.
