Suggestions for breakfast around Swan/Dolphin?

Hello!

We are staying at the Swan for our trip in March.

We plan to sleep in one day and get breakfast/bruch (table service). I stayed at Swan last year and recall Garden Grove - does anyone have experience dining there recently?
Also, I know Ale&compass is supposed to be good…

Also up for other suggestions! Thanks! 😊

We are big breakfast people, so eating at a resort is way better then most anything in the parks. I'd check out Rosa Mexicano's breakfast over the Dolphin, here is a link to the breakfast menu. We used to really enjoy the breakfast at Picabu, but it's now closed and awaiting the new Lagoon Games, Lanes & Eats in it's place. I am hopeful that this might bring about some change at Garden Grove, which is still good, but I think it could use an update, here is the menu for GG.

We had a delicious breakfast at Garden Grove in December - generous portions, flavourful and wonderful service. Also had an amazing breakfast at the Cake Bake Shop. Would eat at both again!

I really liked Trattoria al Forno's breakfast. It was easy to find an ADR for 4 people the night before and everyone enjoyed their food.

I came here to suggest that, it seems to be slept on but I really enjoyed it on my last Dolphin stay. We plan on hitting it up again when we're at BWI in May.

I grew up doing the character breakfast at Garden Grove and I hope they'll bring it back someday.

I really enjoy Trattoria al Forno's breakfast. The Garden Grove is good, but no reservations, and the wait time can be significant. They do have an AAA discount of 20% if I'm remembering correctly.

Another vote for Rosa at Dolphin. I've eaten dinner there but not breakfast. The menu looks similar to what Fresh Med. Market used to have - minus the excellent juices. That used to be my go to last day of the trip breakfast, especially if I was staying at Dolphin. I'll be at Dolphin in April so I'll check it out. I've had Ale and Compass to go and it was pretty good as well. Also didn't know Picabu was closed, I used to grab a quick breakfast there once or twice a trip darn it.

Rosa at the Dolphin has a fantastic breakfast! Another vote, as well, for Trattoria, Ale and Compass, and if you want a good character breakfast before you leave, you may want to consider Cape May Cafe. We sometimes do a character breakfast on our check-out date so we don't eat up park time with one. I also really want to try Cake Bake when we're there this fall.

Also voting for Trattoria al Forno, as well as for the ease of getting reservations the night before. Maybe not so easy now that the word's out though!

Hi! Also going in March….Couple questions: Do you need a reservation for Rosa Mexicano for breakfast? Does anyone happen to know how Swan handles breakfast benefit for Titanium level, as I am wondering if we can use it at the Rosa Mexicano?

Echoing others with Trattoria as their breakfast pizza is so good! I was just looking at Rosa's menu when at Dolphin last week and the breakfast seems really like something I would love to have tried...maybe next time. Ale and Compass is always good enough and I also agree with whoever said Cape May if you're looking for that character/AYCTE action. They have great rolls to start breakfast!

No reservations needed for breakfast, they only take reservations for dinner. I don't know for sure as I generally only stay at the Dolphin but I believe you can use your Swan breakfast benefit at Rosa's. If it's the same as the Platinum Elite benefit, you get 2 continental buffets for free, or if you are solo, you can get the full buffet for free. If you want to order off the menu instead, it's $15 per person for 2 of you or $30 for solo guests.
