Suggestions for Birthday Day at MK and WL?

New Year's Day my son will be turning 11! We are going to his favorite park -MK - and the hours that day are 9AM to 2AM. We've booked WL for our hotel that night and plan on taking a long break during the day back at the hotel. What fun ideas can you pass on to help us have a great day?

Things we'll be doing-

Getting a birthday badge upon arrival at MK

Having lunch at CP and ordering a cake


Things I'm thinking about, but not sure if they'd be worth it-

Going over to FW for the campfire songs and movie?

Sleigh ride at WL?

Where do you get the birthday badge at MK?

Go to City Hall and get an "IT'S MY BIRTHDAY" button. go to the left right inside park

Upon check in at WL tell the CM that it is his BD. THey will ask you the date and his favorite character. On his BD he will receive a card signed by the character and balloons in your room. You may want to call the day before and confirm all of this.
