I am traveling to Disney for the Princess Half marathon weekend, and will be flying in a day ahead of my mom and sister. I will have an entire afternoon to kill-from around 3pm to 11pm when they arrive. Staying at All Star Sports that night, and BWV for the rest of the weekend. We are going to Epcot after the half, and planning on touring some resorts/DTD for the remainder of the weekend. I'm trying to decide what I want to do before they get there. Ideas?

I'm not opposed to buying a park ticket, and at first was planning to go to MK, but that is the least recommended park that day according to WDW, so I'm looking for a less crowded option...I am not a huge fan of crowds (yes I know, WDW IS crowds, haha).

So, thoughts?!

I'd recommend a Keys to the Kingdom tour in MK. It allows you to take Disney to another level and open only to those 16 and older. A meal is included in the tour.

Keys to the kingdom tour is only offered early in the day since OP only has availability from 3- 11 p.m that won't work for her.

At 3:45 they have free tours of Boma's and Jirko at AKL with free food sampling. Then you could walk around the resort.

Go to the beach at the Poly and watch the fireworks.

Not sure what day you will be free but you could go to the Luau for dinner. Its has a nice show and the food is great. Then catch the fireworks.

Go to POR and ride the horse drawn carriage.
