I just have boys!!

A little girl in their class - grade primary, like kindergarten - is turning 6, and my boys are invited to the party...

Any suggestions? The party is tomorrow, and of course, we just got the invite today...WalMart is the only option for shopping...I'm assuming that a Barbie something is a good idea..I get to shop the Pink Aisle!!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I could tell you anything about PowerRangers DinoThunder... but what's new for Barbie...???

Gotta start brushing up...see countdown!!!:D

Thanks for all your help..:sunny:

*LOL* My girl perfers Thomas Trains!!

How about art supplies? Pencils, paper, markers, crayons, etc. They love to do "art" at this age.

Barbie stuff is always good. Though most 6yo's have a ton of dolls. I'd stick to clothes, & other accessories. The cars are pretty popular.

I'll tell you one thing NOT to get! Those little bead kits with the 1000 beads you string together. They are labeled for 5yo, but they are much to hard. Brittany got a couple, & after a couple of frustrating attempts, they went into the trash!

Do you have a Toys R Us close? They give gift receipts.

I would also go the "craft" route. My 7 y o has loved crafts since the age of 3 and hasn't stopped. And like Kimberle said, no beads. Such a mess. Barbies, I think either girls like them or they don't and chances are if they do they have plenty. Another suggestion, how about a bathing suit and a beach towel. I always prefer to get and give clothes.

My DD is 7 and she loves Polly Pocket, My Little Ponies, Barbie, Books, and anything Disney Princess.

My 5yo DD loves art things (crayons, markers, glue sticks, paper, stickers etc.) Another thought might be Hoola Hoop, bubbles, jump rope, sidewalk chalk.

Polly Pockets are a hit with that age. Disney Princesses dolls are great, also. There are also dress up clothes and shoes, pretend makeup and purses.

What wonderful suggestions...I never even thought of the craft/clothes route...!!

But I won't get the Beads...;)
