Hi All,

I was hoping to get some suggestions for a TS dinner that is only 1 credit on the DDP and is not inside any of the parks. I want to make a dinner reservation for the day we arrive but probably won't want to fight the crowds in the parks.

Thanks for your suggestions!

Hi. If i could only choose one place to eat it would be Ohana dinner at the Polynesian resort. Ultimate favorite! It's not in the parks either! It's one TS too. Try it, it's AMAZING--all you can eat family style.

Raglan Road. Good Irish music, great food and a nice beer. Plus your in Downtown Disney where there is a wealth of opportunity to shop or sight see.:thumbsup2

Raglan Road or Captain Jack's downtown - both are great!

Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge - Really fun and good food! Will get you in the Disney spirit!

1900 Park Faire at Grand Floridian - beautiful to see, can enjoy the piano music, and get to see Cinderella and crew! This one is a buffet tho... that may not be your thing.

Oh... and I hear Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge is good for dinner. Also a buffet. Only had breakfast there while we were staying at the hotel but it is a really nice hotel to look around at. And if you go at night you can see the animals through the night vision goggles.

Filet Mignon at Kona in the Poly - followed by going downstairs to the Poly beach to watch the water parade and fireworks while eating a Dole Whip from Captain Cook's Snacks (unless you're too stuffed!) :goodvibes

You can't go wrong at Maya Grill (CSR). :cool1:
Turf Club at SSR is also very good. And I agree about Kona Cafe. Never a bad meal or service there either.

This is a great suggestion. I might just have to do this myself in October!!! We've got 2 TS meals planned at the Poly - one at Kona and one at O'Hana.

Have done this except for the dole whip, had now room left after the great desserts at Kona.:cool1: :hippie:

the night we arrive since we're staying ot POFQ and can take the boat down. We'll also get to checkout PI, which is closing right after we get home. We've never been to the AC and want to check it out before it is a thing of the past.
