Suggestion for a first time rental for a family if 4

Hello everyone,

I need a suggestion for a first time rental for a family of 4. It would be myself, wife, 7 yr old son and mother inlaw. We would be driving. Is parking free? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There is free self-service parking at all DVC resorts.
You can pay for valet, if you wish.
The parking pass given at check-in gets you free parking at all the parks.

Since you're asking for suggestions...

Even though you are only a family of 4, unless you are pretty cozy with your Mother IN Law, a two bedroom unit may be best so everyone has their privacy.


Now, if you regularly travel with her, and get along fine, a one bedroom unit, you two in the master bedroom, kiddo and MIL in the living room. In that case I'd sugggest one of the resorts with the extra sleeper chair in the living for the 7 yo, like OKW, BLT or AKV (non-value class unit at AKV)
