Suggestion for 1 night stay before getting the Autotrain on Sat.

We're staying with my MIL in Sarasota for a week mid-March, but want to spend a day in Orlando somewhere (not doing Disney) prior to getting the Autotrain Sat. afternoon. It leaves at 4:00 - so we will have some time to spend at the pool. Any ideas for something nice, but not expensive. Nice pool, or shuffelboard, etc. There are so many to chose from, I thought just a few ideas from people who have actually stayed somewhere would make it easier.

just be aware that with the autotrain you have to be there much earlier to get your car checked in. We try to get there around noon to avoid the much longer lines later in the day.
