Hello fellow DIS'ers...

My wife and I have a 5:30pm dinner ADR at California Grill at the Contemporary before MNSSHP that same night. We plan on hopping on the monorail and heading straight into MNSSHP after dinner.

The problem is that the California Grill has a business casual dress code. This rules out shorts for the night. Our concern is getting too hot during MNSSHP.

Any suggestions on some business casual attire that we could wear to the parks afterwards.

We probably won't be carrying a bag so carrying a change of clothes won't be an option (unless its strongly suggested by the boards). We both have Mickey short-sleeved polo shirts that we could wear. So probably full length khaki pants?

My wife (Tulips18 on the boards) and I are actually going on our Disneymoon and have never been to WDW. We have really been relying on some of the knowledge and experiences of the DIS'ers to help plan our trip and haven't been disappointed yet. :disrocks:

Thanks in advance for all the advice! :thanks:

Actually I was told by a CM when making reservations for The Yatchsman Steak House (Business casual as well) that shorts were ok. They couldnt be cut offs or short shorts but a nice dress short was ok.Was told also no ribbed tank tops.

If you are worried about having to carry around your extra clothing, you could change into shorts and tshirts and put your nicer clothing in the lockers at MK. Also, many adults dress up in costume for MNSSHP, if you decide to do so, you will definately need a change of clothing! But I would change and use the lockers, unless I was staying on the monorail line, in that case I'd just go back to my room and change.
