Does anyone have a list of places at WDW that offer sugar free desserts and snacks? Both sit down restaurants and counter service?

Thanks in advance.

Not really. I find that most places can come up with one if asked. Since I also have an extreme reaction to Nutrasweet there are few I can eat as none seem to be naturally sweetened.

The Main Street bakery has sugarfree chocolate muffins. They said that was the only selection that they carry. They were good. Alittle crumbly, but tasty.

Most hotels that offered ice cream did have either sugarfree or no sugar added selections even if they weren't listed on the menu.

Ray had it noted when he made our reservations that he was in a wheelchair and was diabetic. We had reservations at Tony's, Boma, 1900 Park Fare, Chef Mickey's and Cape May and all had a sugarfree dessert for my husband. In most cases the chef came out and talked to Ray when we were seated. All were very gracious about accomodating his diabetic diet. After dessert at both Bomas and 1900 the chef came back out and sat with us over coffee.

Some the desserts were cheesecake with mango sauce, berry gelatin with fresh fruit in it, shortcake with fresh raspberry sauce, a bowl of rasberries, blueberries and blackberries with vanilla creme. All were beautifully presented and so good that he tested to make sure his numbers didn't elevate. They never did.:D

Except at the AKL concierge where the sugar free desserts were prepared for my specifications all the sugar free desserts have Nutrasweet in them as a sweetener. That for me is a death sentence. I pretty much just ask for fruit. I can control how much I eat and it is not sweetened with Nutrasweet.
AKL btw made me strawberries dipped in semisweet chocolate that were awesome.
I can't even drink a soda at Disney because of this allergy! I'm limited to tea, water, juices and coffee.

We just got back. I previously had requested a sugar free dessert when making my reservations but bc we were going on the cruise afterwards, I didn't this time. To my surprise, there were sugar free desserts on several menus and buffets (for example, Chef Mickey's had sugar free brownies on the buffet and the Brown Derby had some sort of sugar free crumble on the menu). The cruise had SF desserts on the menus too. In prior trips, it was never offered, you had to ask for it (but they were always very nice about it, the pastry chef at the California Grill designed a special dessert for my birthday just for me!). Not much help for non-nutrasweet people, though. It was also a lot easier to eat healthfully overall, we were able to substitute carrots, grapes, etc. for fries at counterservice places which was nice.

From Deb Wills site:

If you are in Epcot, remember the Fountainview café has a sugarless cheesecake among all its pastries, which has no crust and is very good indeed. Likewise, a chocolate Mousse at Kringla og Bakeri in Norway is loaded with cream and chocolate, but sweetened with aspartame.

The sugarless chocolate mousse, listed as available at the bakery in Norway, can also be found at Pure and Simple Guilt-Free Goodies in the Wonders of Life pavilion, in Future World.

The sugarless vanilla ice cream in cups, which should be available at any vendor cart in any park, is not always stocked at every cart. However, Ice Cream Central (wherever that is) has it, and also frozen-fruit bars with no sugar (8 carbs per bar). Simply ask the CM at the cart for these items, and they will get on their walkie-talkies! The ice cream will be at the cart in about five minutes, if you don't mind waiting. I asked why they aren't always stocked. "Well, people forget about their diets when they go on vacation and we don't get many orders for them".

I recently dined at Artist Point, where they make a superlative fresh berry cobbler, including strawberries, raspberries, black and blueberries. I asked if they would give me the unsweetened berries with some heavy cream. They did _ a dish heaped high with beautiful fruit, and a small pitcher of cream. What a divine dessert _ who needs the pastru!

For sugarless candy, try the jelly beans, turtles and peanut butter cups available at Main Street Confectionary in the Magic Kingdom, and also at Sweet Treats (MGM) and the Contemporary¹s 4th floor shop.

I really wish they would make some regularly without aspartame. The berries and cream sound perfect. I am better off eating regular ice cream and counting carbs than eating something with aspartame. It's really quite fustrating but usually they can find me some plain fruit.

Thank you for all of this great information. It is nice to know that there are so many different things available to try on a special occaision. I know the carb counts can be but are not always lower for sugar=free items.. but it is nice to have a choice.
(for those of us who can use equal)
Thanks again.
