Suddenly Solo!

Hi, All.

I've just found out that, due to an illness in my travel companion's family, I will be going solo to WDW October 13-18. I've been solo before, so that really isn't a problem, I'm just sad for him and a little off-center since I hadn't planned for this to be a solo trip. I'm staying at Pop Century and going to MVMCP on October 16. Anyone else have similar plans?

I think I've decided to do something nice for my planned travel partner and thought I'd solicit some feedback. I love the characters and he's always so good about indulging me when we've gone together in the past and was saying he was thinking about starting his own autograph book this time. I thought I'd have the characters sign "To (him)" and I'd do a scrapbook with the autograph under a photo of me and the character. I already have all but the most rare character autographs, so this will give me a new reason to interact with them all - like I need a new reason! Does that sound too cheesy?

I don't think it sounds cheesy at all - I think it sounds really nice. And fun!

When DS & I were at WDW Aug 13-27 we had our first full day brkfst at Chef Mickey's. I brought along a Get Well card for DH. The characters all signed it for him.

I dont think MVMCP will be happening on Oct 16th

your trip will start just as mine ends, nothing cheesey about it...in WDW you are allowed to be a kid

I'm sorry about your friends troubles, but oh man I'd love to go solo!
I can't imagine not having to take into consideration the wants and needs of several other people when I'm in Disney World. It would be glorious!

Not cheesy at all ! We always do an autograph book where we skip a page so I can 'scrap' the picture with it. I love to scrapbook anything Disney.
