I was wondering if Disney was working on any other princess movies and stumbled across an exciting page that said the Princess & The Pea is in the works with Gerard Butler and Angela Lansbury in it. I'm sad to say I'm fairly certain it's all a big fat lie, I think the page is probably bogus. There is NOTHING else about it that I can find.

And now I have a sad.

The next thing I've been able to find in the pipeline that has princess potential is Moana, slated for 2018. A description of the plot and other details are here: Moana

The main character will be Moana Waialiki, a sea voyaging enthusiast, and the only daughter of a chief in a long line of navigators. When her family needs her help, she sets off on an epic journey.

Seems that Lilo isn't doing her job selling Aulani.... Have to bring in a Polynesian princess to do the job. Mulan must have been busy. They probably could have cast her.
