Here we go! Your first update! If you're as excited as I am, that means you like me! Yay!
So, the day before we went to Disney, my brother and I were running all around our house and packing like madmen. He finished before me and headed off to spend the evening with his girlfriend, Katie, who will be mentioned quite a few times throughout this report.
Meanwhile, I finished packing.
Did I say finished? I mean started.
I packed my parks bag, which was also my personal item for the plane, and attached my lime green Mickey, of course!
I also packed my Vera wristlet, two of the books I had to read this summer,
and of course, these little beauties.
Ironically enough, I never actually ended up wearing them, but I just couldn't go to Disney without them!
All done packing!
I then ripped off the last chain on my countdown I had been doing for last two weeks. Here are some pics of the chain while it was being made and while it was still intact. It's full of quotes from Disney parks and movies.
I then decided it was high time for one of my favorite things to do before I go to Disney...paint my nails!
I decided to channel the Disney characters and parks in my nails for this trip, and although it took a few corrections, changes of mind, and a few long hours, I was very happy with the finished product. Here they are!
In order from left to right: Mickey Mouse, Rapunzel's colors with a black Mickey head, Harry Potter (represented houses are Gryffindor, Slytherin and Ravenclaw, with the Deathly Hallows symbol and the letters "HP" at the top), Donald Duck, and last but most certainly not the least, THE MONORAIL.
And here's the other hand!
From left to right: Jasmine, Ariel, Winnie the Pooh, Minnie Mouse, and Woody/Jessie.
After those were done and while they were drying, I checked into my flight, had dinner with my family, and caught up on the DIS. That night seemed to be a big night for TR updates, so I was kept very entertained.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was on abc family, so I watched that while snacking on something incredibly divine...
...RED VELVET ICE CREAM.
It was delicious, and it really got me excited for all the other yummy Disney food that I'd be eating very soon!
After Harry Potter was over I tried to get some sleep, but I couldn't. I WAS TOO FREAKIN' EXCITED!!!!

So I stalked the DIS some more and watched the Proposal, followed by some reruns of That 70's Show. Then, at about 2 a.m., I FINALLY fell asleep.
