Such a good Sparrow deal, I almost feel bad

Today on main street, I traded just this to a player for his Sparrow jacket, pants, boots

Full Cowboy
Dreams Shirt
Sorcerer Hat
Pan Hat
Pirate Hat w/out Parrot
King's Crown
Flip Hat

I asked him if he was sure before the trade was final, and he said it's what he wanted

Well, it wasn't a scam, as he SPECIFICALLY said that he liked the trade.

I always look at it as if thats what the other player wants then its fine.
The same thing happened to me when I got bird hat, I offered my full offer and they said they only wanted full green space suit, so of course I did the trade.

I wouldn't feel bad, who knows maybe they have more than one or just really didn't like it. The rule most follow with trades is if both parties are happy with what they got then it was good.
Besides I know of a Sparrow trade that was for way less

Don't feel bad. Maybe before he got Sparrow, he was somewhat new and
missed all those items. And because many new players have trouble getting
them, your trade helped him out.

I made my Sparrow trade offer finally by finding a trade post with specific
items she wanted, with items I actually had to offer! I don't think they rate
super-high on the "rare" scale, although many of them items are no longer
sold. Still, I was happy I had the items, she was happy she got what she
was looking for.

It really pays to pay attention to what people want.
