Successful RCI exchanges

I have an ongoing search for DVC Orlando through RCI for November 2015. What recent successful RCI exchanges have people had with DVC Orlando?

the TUG board might be a better place to look. most of us on the DVC board use DVC pts to book DVC (i have another timeshare but tend to trade it for non-disney locations).

generally, it seems like you might be a little late to start looking for november. size may also be an issue as it sounds like disney is not offering as many 2BRs for trade these days...a 1BR exchange might work.

November hasn't been deposited into RCI. Neither has October for that matter. The latest dates that have been available in RCI for any DVC is Sept 20 check in, and only SSR lately. It's likely SSR 1-bedroom deposits will be made, we just don't know when.

OP - when did you start your ongoing search? Have you included all DVC Orlando resorts, especially SSR? Do you have a specific weekend required for check in, or a range of dates? I've had my OGS active since June 2014, and my acceptable check in dates range from Oct 23-Nov 15, with SSR and OKW only included for check ins the middle 2 weekends.

Definitely check out TUG for more info.

Edited to add - it's driving me crazy having to wait this close to check in date to get a match! I have a backup booked at POFQ for Oct 28-Nov 8, but we really have no idea when we're going yet, until that RCI match comes through.

Thank you for the helpful insight! We are open to any DVC Orlando resort. If we get a match, this will be our first time as a family to WDW. Fingers crossed

The specific TUG forum people are talking about is the TUG Sightings & Distressed board. In order to access that, you have to join TUG ($15 per year. TUG is a great resource for timeshare info other than DVC. The DIS/DVC boards are far better for DVC.

DVC sightings are VERY closely watched over there, so you'll never have to look hard to find the latest info. I'm sure that's where marsh0013 got the info above.

Can the RCI reservations only start on Fri/Sat or Sun?
