Success!!!

I joined Curves a month ago and have been working out three times a week and eating sensibly. I had my first weigh-in and measure this morning. I was down four pounds and I lost a total of 11 inches!! I lost two inches off my bust, two off my waist and two inches off my thighs -- plus smaller losses in my arms, stomach and hips.

I was thrilled. The weight loss isn't a big deal, but those inches mean alot.

There is no better motivator than success.

Good for you! Your post is motivating me to start measuring myself. Everybody likes to lose pounds but those inches can make all the difference in the world, especially when you're trying to fit into the next smaller size.

Congratulations, that is excellent news Keep up the good work. I agree that inches lost is more important than lbs lost. After all what you weigh is just a number on a scale, it is how you feel and what you look like that counts

Congratulations on the losses that you have accomplished so far. You are doing just great. Those inches gone are wonderful and are truly inspirational. I seem to forget if I'm not losing pounds that I need to measure. Thanks for the reminder.
