my pitts name is Raz,the is a picture of him at the bottom of this post. i know he is a mix,but since he is a pound puppy not sure of what mix?????? my name is Derinda but dh has called me dudlee for a long time. someone told me pits were not allowed in Florida is this true???? i am thinking my next dog might be a boxer,but my dogs seem to have a way of finding me instead of the other way around.anyone know that feeling? Derinda

I think pit owners are required to have a certain amount of liability insurance, but they are definitely allowed. There are tons of pits in this area.

Yes, all of my animals found me (or the people who rescued them found me). But you can always go to boxer rescue if you are looking to adopt one. My boxer is just gorgeous (though a handful), and he had been through the SPCA twice before his owner died and he was rescued yet again. All these hicks who live around me are always asking me if I want to get rid of him or stud him out -- always looking to make a buck with no concept of consequences. Too bad, suckers; he's neutered!

ANYWAY... not to hijack the thread with my PSA.
