Ah hah, you thought i was stumped with these new rooms and trying to identify some VMK secrets and facts from them.. but alas, you were incorrect. This specail edition of Cap's Emporium of the VMK Weird and Unnatural brings us to not only one room, but several, all of which have hints toward.. yup you guessed it VE or Virtual Epcot. The first is very subtle, if you notice on the new loading screen, you'll see a purple rocketship with a girl sticking out of it waving around a ticket like she owns VMK. But did you look at the writing on the Spaceship's wing? It reads "X-2", but it's upside down.. where have we seen these letters before? For those of you who know your Disney trivia, you obviously recognize this number-letter as the model of spaceship which you board on Mission: Space. This ship also looks exactly like the ship you see in M:S's pre-show.
The next subtle, but blatently obvious hint toward Epcot is found within the VMK Gallery. In the room, you'll find two glass cases with what looks like shields or emblems of some sort. For those of you who know your Epcot history, you'll know that Epcot used to have a symbol for each of their areas. For example, the Living Seas had a blue circular symbol with a wave in it. The Living Seas Symbol can't be found in these cases, but many of it's brothers can be. The most notable is the turquoise one which was the Universe of Energy's symbol (i may be wrong about which area so correct me if i am).
So, all in all just a couple more hints towards our next VMK milestone... Virtual Epcot.
Just another VMK fact... from CapElDano
