Substituting for the appetizer ??

Sorry if this has been posted many times before. I could not find it. Can you substitute a salad or soup for an appetizer on the DDP? Just asking, as this is very new to me. Thanks!!

Most of the time, yes. There are some salads and some soups, though, that are entrees, and so of course that substitution is not permitted.
