subscribing to a post?

What does this mean exactly and how do you do it? I have seen this on quite a few posts? Thanks

Click on thread tools just above your posting then click on subscribe.

I don't know why, but people posting subbing really annoys me.

You are also automatically subscribed to a thread when you post on a thread.

What subscribing does is it allows you to easily relocate a thread if you want to read additional posts on the topic or just refer to it later. To find the threads you're subscribed to, just click on Quick Links at the top of the page, and you'll get a drop down menu that includes Subscribed Threads. And I agree ntsammy5 - people posting subbing annoys me too.

You are also automatically subscribed to a thread when you post on a thread.

You have to select if you want to subscribe...the thread will not automatically subscribe you just because you posted on it.
