OK I finally put in an offer yesterday. I have not heard anything back yet. I emailed her today and still no reply. What should I do just wait or move on to another contact. This is our first DVC purchase so I am new to this whole thing.

I would wait.............and good luck. Once it took a couple days for me because the realtor was out of the office. Hope you get your contract.

The realtor may not be in or the sellers are late getting back to them. They will keep you informed on the progress of the offer. You have to be patient as these will take approximately two months to close.

Give it whatever time you feel comfortable with. If you want to withdraw the offer, be sure to do so in writing to the resale broker to be sure cover all bases if you are moving on.

Good luck!

When we purchased the resale broker was able to give us updates almost immediately. The broker should tell you whether or not they reached the seller and if the broker left messages. It's reasonable that it's hard to reach a seller, but the broker should be able to tell you about the status.

We were very pleased with the Timeshare Store in this regard. I'm sure other brokers are also good. As other responses indicated, the whole process takes some time (we offered on October 16th and closed just before Thanksgiving and had our points in the Disney system on December 2nd-- sounds like our time frame was about as fast as it can go as other have indicated up to 3 months for the whole process).

I agree. Give it a few days and see what happens. The Seller may be thinking things over. The prize at the end of the wait is worth it.:goodvibes

YAH...just heard back they have accepted our offer. It is OKW extended 150 points for $56.00 per point buyer pays M/F and seller pays closing.

Congrats! That is almost as good as when I bought ssr in July at $55 pp with $0 closing and $0 mf! Enjoy!
