Sub out Soup/Salads for Apps

So anyway, I was thinking I'm not a huge fan of some of the apps on these menus I'm seeing while on the DDxP. Do they let you have a salad or soup instead of the app since it is cheaper anyways and probably more cost effective for the restaurant.

On the Deluxe plan: your app consist of app, soup or salade. Of course it may depend on the resturant, but the general rule is that any "pre" meal order such as soup, salade, sushi, flatbread is consisdered to be your app.

On the DxDDP anything on the menu above the entree section can be chosen as your appetizer. The only exception we came across were 2 of the sushi selections at Cali Grill. The server pointed these out to us and said they could be selected as an entree.

In general, if there is a soup or salad on the menu, you may order it as your appetizer. If there isn't one on the menu, I'm sure reactions will differ for each restaurant as far as allowing guests to order off-menu.
