STVS not avail :( Need help finding intimate videographer

I did know about it though because I read it in the ‘Unofficial Wedding Guide’ I hope we get away without paying it that would save us a few $$$

Wow this definately is something new because I too have the Unoffical Wedding Guide however it is the first version that was made and it does not state this anywhere.

What is probably happening is many of the brides are from these boards hearing about how AWESOME STAN and RANDY are and not wanting to go with DISNEY, so Disney finds this just another way to make of Free Buck.
Now let me go wash my mouth out with soap for downing the mouse.

Now if Disney did something to improve their DPS services - like we get to choose the photographer/videographer etc then we wouldn't find ourselves looking at outside vendors and they wouldn't have to charge us for such use........... but the charge is so typical Disney.........bless their little mouse-ears ::Sigh::

Hi everyone.....I was at Disney today to do my custom planning session and I specifically asked about outside vendors and they do charge 30 per hour. I also asked if you use outside for video and photo do you have to pay 30 an hour per vendor and they said no. Also no charge for outside floral. I am still deciding if I should use outside floral, video or photo????? The planning session was a blast and they were very nice. Now I only have to go back for the tasting menu. I really like my EM Becki, she is a sweetheart. And she went to FSU so that makes her even better : )

Nolegrl Im a little cofused with your post. Which vendors DO they charge the $30 per hour for, if it is not Video/Photo or Flowers?

I know I had Balloons By Design come in and Build a HUGE balloon canopy over the dance floor and arches everywhere throughout my reception with lights incorporated in them and I didnt get charged this vendors fee for this either.

Ellie I think what she means is that if you have BOTH outside vendor for video and photography you only have to pay the ONE $30 per hour fee instead of the same fee for both - that would make sense as surely the same "chaperone" could be used for both photographer and videographer.

We certainly didn't have to pay a fee for using my outside florist, Charming Events.

Hi,

I received my contract today and said I'd let you know if I had the outside vendor charge in my contract - Unfortunately, yes I do, it states exactly the same as what Fantasia Sam's contract said (above).
We are using outside vendors for both video and photography and if we end up getting charged like the contract states it's going to cost us quite a lot on top of what we're already paying for the vendors I was budgeting for this chaperone fee to be included anyway but was really hoping to get away with it.

Fantasia Sam - did you find out after the wedding that you only had to pay a one off fee of $90?
