stupid questions in need of smart answers

I know I'm bugging you all to death, but I am not sure who to ask...

If I create a character at DLR, do I have to use a different sign-in name or can it be done under the same account? Then can I trade to my current character? Can you trade rooms? I want the tiki room and the mouse ears, but I don't want to give up my current title.

YOu would have to set up a whole new account then you can trade the items to your main character. But rooms and credits cannot be transferred.

Rooms can not be traded right now but vmk is working of it.

In Park Characters come with a "Made in the Park" tag something else that can not be traded.

I know, but alot of the players guide is still Greek to me. I have never played a game like this online before, so I get lost easily.

That's why I said I have stupid questions.

I'm really excited to play VMK, but I am getting a little frustrated. There should be more basic layman's help for beginners.

Thank goodness for a few players on the board here that have kinda taken me under their wings and are patient with me.

HA!!! Of course that's the one place I'm having a hard time getting to because of all the silly magic pins I have to get to go there.

The only stupid question is the one you do not ask. Others may be too "shy" to post questions. You never know how many players your questions are helping. The game does take a while to learn.

So, post on or send me some additional pm's.

There's no reason to go through all of the time, trouble and expense it takes to get a quest kiosk, simply to trade 200 credits (or whatever that amount is) to your main character.

It is much simpler to have your new character buy some items you would like, then trade them to your original character, along with the Mickey ears and other items that come with it.

Yep. I never use mules (what alternate characters are usually called) to give my main character credits. It ends up being a waste of credits. Just use the credits on the mule to buy whatever items that you want to give to your main character. And quest machines, while they are good for transferring credits between characters, are not good for characters that you want to throw away. Quest machines currently cost 30,000 credits. And they cannot be traded or even sold back to the game. Once a character has it, it's stuck with it for all eternity.

If you make an in-park character, you just might want to use it as your regular alternate character. You can use the same email address if you make the character a child. You will have a different log-in and password for that character.

Mules are good to have in small numbers. You can use them to get extra credits in the form of extra daily credits and to do the in game quests extra times. You can also use them to hide out from everyone else once in a while. They also make good storage. Especially for pins and costumes. I also have male characters to get those male only items.

Oh. And if you create a new character, be aware that there are certain clothes that only new characters can get. Those items are not sold in the game and can only be gotten afterwards by trade.

I'm sure there will be many more questions for you to ask. Please don't feel that any of them are stupid. Smart people ask questions to get answers they don't know.

I seem to get different opinions all the time on whether mouse ears are still available on in-park characters. Has anyone created a character within the last month and received ears

I created a character at Disneyland in March and got the ears, but people have reported both getting them and not getting them since then, at Disneyland and WDW as well. A cast member at Disneyland told someone the black ears were "not going to be given out anymore", but a few days later somebody else said they received them.

I actually like going to Hide-n-Seek Forest and just love to go there and listen to the water and hear all the poeple wonder how to get up on the top! Yea that will calm you..

Never feel stupid about asking questions? Believe me so many of these same wonderful people certainly helped me wehn I first joined! If you ever need any help judt ask That's what the Dis people like to do best is help! (that and have fun)

It is great to haev other mules...like they say you can get other quest items and buy things with them! This is where I found out about mules is right here on the board! Now I have several and use all them!
